If that’s a floating disc, the floating pins can wear but it shouldn’t affect the integrity of the system or function. They are just high mileage worn out and you can replace back in the UK. My BMW is the same. Keep going and enjoy.
Fantastic footage again. The scenery, food and fun, absolutely epic. Certainly re-defines a 'lads day out'! Mind you, you could do with some threadlock on that wobbly camera mount😂. Looking forward to your next video.
Another great episode creating memories you'll never forget riding through such spectacular scenery ,great choice of music too .Must admit , I cannot fathom why Alan decided to take such a well -loaded Z125 Monkey on such testing torrain but it seems to be holding up well - there again , Ed March went around the world on a C90 !.
That was a long wait 😉 The disks rattle because of the wave washers under the disc mounting bolt flanges going bad. I started using double washers to stop the racket the disks make. As an emergency fix you can replace missing or broken washers with M14 copper seal rings. Don't forget to heat the bolts because they're mounted with loctite.
It's only a brake, I've got another one on the other side 😅😅😅 Love it You are doing what your supposed to do RIDE YOUR BIKE There's plenty out there who would have thrown the towel in over that loose disk Where to next and is the bike a keeper Did you use a body double for the swimming pool scene 😅😅😅 I've said it before and I will say it again You cannot beat Morocco Good luck with the channel 👍
dont worry about the disc, its the wavy washers which break up and fall off and the disc rattles. Standard and nowt to worry about. They all do it mate.
There is always some level of play between the rotor and the carrier on floating brake disks (that's what the 'float' means). Over time the rotor, carrier, and the rivets between them wear, increasing the 'float'/looseness. It's not a critical issue though it will result in annoying rattling and (in extreme cases) brake failure. Yours doesn't appear to be extreme, but it is probably worn beyond the manufacturer's specs (I don't know what those specs are, but looking/listening sounds loose-but-ok to me). That said, as the wear increases, the RATE of wear increases (and that sandy environment will play a part too). Keep an eye on it, and order up some new discs at some point. The other possibility is that a rotor/rivet or carrier is damaged (eg a piece has cracked off, somewhere at the points where those three parts touch). Inspect each part closely all around both sides of the disc. If it all looks intact, then my earlier advice above applies.
Your old model Gs has floating disc, newer models have floating calipers, you can change the inserts and wawy washers, if the disc are above 4,5mm thick otherwise grab deep in your pockets and buy new ones???????
Another great video but… Why do you all act like primadonnas when you get a hotel that doesn’t have all the mod cons? Is this really a reflection of the British motorcyclist abroad? I’ve noticed it on a lot of RUclips channels, a clean room a bed and a shower for the nigh5 is all you need when you’re on the road but for some reason it’s no good for influencers like yourself. That’s sad and makes a bit of a joke about you claiming to be on an adventure.
I think your comment is a bit primadonna really, what’s he said? It’s a bit small and wouldn’t be his first choice but it’s clean and a place for the night??? Nothing wrong with that at all.
Wow listen to you! This is the definition of adventure. Thousands of miles from home. It's a great series and further than I've ever ridden. Can't wait to watch your vids next
Sorry you feel this way. How ever I was only really saying it was a bit basic and wouldn’t have been my first choice. If you have seen my earlier episodes you would have seen I have been stopping in basic place that have not had any luxuries.
I stand by my statement. I’ve toured for years and for spending a night on the road the basics are all you need. It’s sidekick’s sidekick HH who is the worst offender. That room looked great, what more does a motorcycle traveller actually need? I’m heading off to an Hivernale camping weekend on Friday, two nights at 1000m carrying everything I need, there are adventures and there are adventures. Staying in expensive hotels and videoing everything isn’t the only way.

Great video, lively colors and scenery, everything just flows natural.
Now this is has just become the favorite series on RUclips 😁
Thank you.

Thanks buddy.
I agree with David, you have a bed, a tele , toilet and shower ands it’s all clean, what else do you expect out in the middle of nowhere

Yes my apologies for the delay. Life and work commitments have really slowed down my time for editing. Thanks for your support.

That is not how the 1150 discs are mounted.
@@dutchsailor6620 Haha, thanks. I didn't even notice that. But yes, you're right :)
