They were acting like the 10 yr sentence for an Antifa rioter convicted of attempted murder was light sentencing compared to the Jan. 6 riots, but the longest sentence for a Jan. 6 riot was 18 years and that was a riot that killed three people including a police officer the same day and resulted in the subsequent deaths of 5 more officers following. Not to mention the icing on the cake to target congress members and disrupt government proceedings. If anything, the Jan. 6 rioters are getting off light.

It's really as simple as one of the jury members bringing evidence of intimidation to the relevant authorities, going over heads if they have to. It's much more likely that they felt social intimidation, but again, making a jury legally liable for not deciding the way someone wants is not a good solution to the problem that will make everything worse. If the lawyers for Ngo felt they had a case, they could argue for a mistrial or from whatever other direction they thought had the best chance of success. Not your life, not your money, not your reputation.

They were acting like the 10 yr sentence for an Antifa rioter convicted of attempted murder was light sentencing compared to the Jan. 6 riots, but the longest sentence for a Jan. 6 riot was 18 years and that was a riot that killed three people including a police officer the same day and resulted in the subsequent deaths of 5 more officers following. Not to mention the icing on the cake to target congress members and disrupt government proceedings. If anything, the Jan. 6 rioters are getting off light.

It's really as simple as one of the jury members bringing evidence of intimidation to the relevant authorities, going over heads if they have to. It's much more likely that they felt social intimidation, but again, making a jury legally liable for not deciding the way someone wants is not a good solution to the problem that will make everything worse. If the lawyers for Ngo felt they had a case, they could argue for a mistrial or from whatever other direction they thought had the best chance of success. Not your life, not your money, not your reputation.

That defeats the purpose of a trial by jury. The da, the judge and jury should be brought up on charges for their actions. The jury is just as guilty as the da and judge . The defendant may or may not be guilty, but they didn't have a fair trial when the jury was threatened in front of the whole court if they didn't decide in favor of the da. That is not justice. Jury is accomplice to the criminal action of the da. Has nothing to do with if the defendant is innocent or guilty, because they decided out of fear for their own lives, in favor of the da. If you want a good laugh, look for footage of 2 Antifa cell leaders getting arrested. In one of them, the guy is crying like a 6 yr old school girl begging cops not to tell his mom he was arrested. no state has capital punishment for attempted murder or even murder on its own when not committed in conjunction to another felony. i argued against that many times when studying law, why would a persons incompetence to actually murder someone matter if they were attempting to do that thing? If a person is shot in the head and the EMTs save that person then there should be no difference in the sentence between attempted and accomplished.
This is why they make hollow points, time to start using them, then, take the trash to the train station. Democrats used to be the opposition, now they're the enemy...we need to treat them as such.

This is the same as in the UK though. We have no police here. If you're attacked they'll say you're not black so you're not a victim or they'll say you're not dead so what are you complaining about. You have to be a victim of murder here to get police attention. The problem is with murder is that there is no victim, that's the point, you end the person's existence. If I were Ngo I would advise that if he goes out alone he wear a dress so if they try to hit him he can say they're hitting a girl. Otherwise he will have no legal protection.
Wining a judgment is easy. Collecting from penniless losers is impossible. This is more of a complete waste of time than it is a win.
