I feel like this better encapsulates zeros character than his x1 theme. The soft synths are his calm and collected exterior, and the hard drums represent his strength, finally the guitars betray his hostile other side.
Zero's theme in X1 was fine considering its context. Zero was a strong hunter and it played when he was there to turn the tables against Vile, truumphant backup when you needed it most. This theme gives me that same feel as if now your odds are better with him rejoining the party. The song that plays in X1 when he dies (and his conversation with X in the intro) is actually X's theme.
I actually loved Megaman X: Command Mission, the music in this game was amazing to me as a kid and this theme stood out to me the most. I call this the real Zero theme it's epic and I just love it! God I really miss Megaman... It's sad to pretty much see it abandoned... and all we got is Mighty No. 9 which is an okay game, but Megaman lives on forever in our hearts...
Bro's back in the day I got a real interchangeable megaman buster arm and damn! I used the hell outta the sword attachment!! Zero has always been my spirit animal since Day 1 and bc he uses a blade it's more strategic to use him vs megaman with his buster shots. Zero reminds me of Krauzer from Resident Evil 4!

I've never played megaman command mission but this song has a really special place in my heart now that im older i even play gaming osts at work.

Many people didn't like Megaman X Command Mission due to the RPG style. I give it a 3 out of 5 & even though it was a spin off game, Megaman X 9 should've been created instead of this game.
It wasnt that bad, did you see X7? i loved all of megaman games (except megaman soccer... it was an old fifa whit megaman and robot masters as players...) and that one was boring as hell, pretty bad for me :c

In all honesty Command Mission should have been X9 it would have made sense
