you are right it gets hotter the more you eat. it was just as you thought with the first bite or two. perfectly normal. but you eat spoonfull after spoonful and by the end and if you drink the broth, IT REALLY GETS HOT!!!!! beyond habenaro kind of hot. i had to drink a quarter gallon of milk before my mouth finally cooled down. but for the tiny bit you ate. yah it was a good amount of heat.
