I've been saying this for weeks. It is obsessed with food. If it's hands aren't shoveling food into his mouth, he's holding his chest or sucking his thumbs waiting for the food to come. Never plays or climbs, no toys. Overweight and extremely spoiled. He's cute and all, but it's a sad existence for a monkey. I bet even if he was put in a tree he'd climb right down and sit at the feet sucking his fingers waiting for food. No interest in anything else besides eating and stressed out if he's not. Yes, they can get addicted to eating, and this one is. He won't do anything unlesz food is involved I guarantee it. And the reason why us because the woman used food to tame David. As long as he was eating, he wasn't running amuck and destroying the house. So that's what she did, she constantly gave him food to keep him busy and out of trouble. Well this is exactly what you get when you don't use proper discipline and when you yourself are lazy and don't want to deal with the monkeys antics. Give him food, hell sit down and be nice. And when he's finished, give him more. David is 100%, undeniably obsessed/ addicted to food. And it's all because the woman is lazy and only wanted a living doll to show off to her friends. Now she has a high strung, territorial against her children about food, and disobedient monkey on her hands. It's only a matter of time until she dumps him or the "wildlife enforcement" come and "confiscate" him. 😐
Your so right. I've never seen David play, he no toys or anything to exercise. I watched one episode where he ran away and was in a tree screaming crying freaking out because he couldn't figure out how to get down. There so many episodes were he is doing something wrong and basically encouraged him and gave him food so in his mind he thinks that is an okay thing to do. She should be embarrassed to post these videos

Granted it's not as bad as some like basically ALL the Cambodian channels (if you watch Monkey channels a lot then you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about) but David is still abused just not in a traditional sense and not even in a physical way. These monkeys are extremely habitual creatures. Meaning, it only takes a repetition of something just a few times before they form a habit of it. Such as eating, it's extremely easy for them to become spoiled by over feeding. They get a nasty attitude and don't want to do anything else. Which is David. And he gets severe anxiety watching the food be prepared for him so he sucks his fingers. He's sucked them so much too that his teeth have grown/pulled forward. Another reason David is the way he is is because everyone in the family just laughs at him when he is being loud and defensive over his food. He doesn't understand that laughter is a noise associated with happiness or humor. He doesn't see it as a threat to be violent or aggressive to, but he doesn't see it as a joyful noise either which is why he becomes defensive and cackles and chatters his teeth whenever they laugh at him. Idk if you ever watched monkey KiTi videos, but they stopped uploading for similar reasons. Because the family laughed at her whenever and that fueled her antics even more. Just like it does David. I could go on and on aboujt how these people have failed David. It's really sad. Like I said, he's cute and all and he's well fed for sure, but it's still a sad existence for a monkey to never want to climb anything, play with any toys, cuddle his owners, none of that. He hardly has any monkey traits, and Id consider him as mostly just a mouth that needs to be fed constantly or he's unmanageable. 😢
This little David is so neglected and is devoid of affection. Like another viewer said, he doesn’t grow and doesn’t learn anything. It’s really sad. He is one unlucky monkey.

He's far too old to still be sucking his fingers. And you know why? Because she's lazy. Only wanted David for the image. Used food as a way to tame him.
