You never show david when he has a full belly and is content to play. You only show him hungry and begging and you slowly making something trying to agitate him. He has a horrible diet, horrible play schedule, horrible cliohes too small and a horrible mother. Today you peel a fruit that he easily eats by himself, why.... This little monkey needs to stop being abused by these people.. He needs to be in the wild where he belongs, he’s a wild animal not a pet. He sucks his thumb to soothe himself because he is afraid and he is not being given an appropriate diet. Wild monkeys do not eat cake, candy or crisps. I feel so bad for him and wish someone would do something about it.

They never show David playing, climbing trees, swimming, bathing, sleeping. Always sitting in that chair with his arms folded. No cuddling no holding. David does speak back to these people because they only do it for money. 😢

I thought he was older than one year? I seem to have been following him for about a year and he wasn't a newborn when she got him, tho' he was extremely tiny. I hope they're kinder to him in his next year.

OK, lets be clear...monkeys DO NOT cry. David appears to be reacting to something irritating his eyes. He is not reacting to something he sees in a video. He has no idea what he is looking at. He is reacting to sound and flashing light. And he doesn't like that he is being restrained. That's all. And, Kaka and Mit were not 'captured'. They were taken by the authorities because it is not legal to keep a wild monkey as a pet. It's not legal for you to keep David. And the authorities may come take David as well. Or, you could take him to a rescue shelter yourselves.

Do you understand WHY he sucks his thumb? It is a comforting gesture for him. Most baby macaques who were separated from their mothers at a very young age will suck their thumbs. Macaques in human homes that is. This is a phenomenon not seen in the wild. When you scold, point or force his thumb from his mouth, it is upsetting for him. He is trying to cope with something he does not understand. He would have been held and carried by his mother 24/7 during his young life. Even though he didn't get to experience that, he knows instinctually that something is missing. If you keep pulling his thumb from his mouth, he will just move on to another digit. At least offer him an alternative like a pacifier. And, again, when he shows his teeth and chatters, he is NOT being aggressive. The chattering is a submissive gesture and barring his teeth is called a fear grimace. He is confused and upset and trying to tell you he needs to suck his thumb. He is trying to placate you while also asking permission to self soothe himself. As I have said before, learn about the animal you are keeping. This is a non human primate, intelligent, sentient, family and community orientated breed that has been removed from his environment. And you are trying to force him to behave as a human child. He is NOT a human child. Either learn about him, respect him and allow him to be a monkey or take him to a rescue shelter before you do any more harm.

OK, patting him on the butt and such is teasing him. He is not a human child. He is a monkey. Some of the things you do are either challenging or threatening to him.

It is horrible that they allow this. When David gets bigger, he will bite harder
