- Receivers Keon Hatcher and Alexander Hollins passed the 1,000-yards mark for the season as the B.C. Lions ran out 33-26 winners over the Saskatchewan Roughriders to clinch a home playoff spot.
Total domination despite the score. Riders completely outclassed.
Went to this game, great atmosphere tonight!
Looked like the Riders were playing one man short on defence the entire game.
Probably because our defense has been rattled with injuries. Had Moncrief lined up at halfback, which I can only assume was to cover injuries because he has not done pass coverage well this year.
Go BC Lions!!! Y’all won the game!
GG's Boys!
It's. ...time...for...my...Lions. ..to...bring...grey...Cup. ..in...British. .Columbia. ...God. ..blessed...ya....John. ...ilic,,,,from...Nova, ,,scotia....love....ya...my....Beautiful....Vancouver
The Flatlanders versus the Lumpy Landers.
This is the first CFL thing I've ever watched. Why do the receivers get a head start? That seems like an unfair advantage.
That’s on purpose. The CFL is a pass-heavy league. This gives the receivers the opportunity to get further downfield.
Forward motion for receivers (including the slotback/tight end) before the snap is permitted in the CFL (and Canadian Football in general) due to their fields being bigger and plays generally favors passing.
For All the marbles next weekend.
The Western Final says otherwise.
No offside?
not able to watch the game, but judging by the highlights im assuming the DBs were getting torched as I predicted
Hollins couldnt have been anymore open the majority of the game. Twice in the endzone. V. Adams was a great replacement for Rorke.
@@bobalong3717 Adams is good but he has tendency to be hot or cold id rather have rourke and im sure most of the lions fans would to, but oh well adams is doing good this year. I'm actually impressed with dolegala considering hes what a 3rd string ? just needs to scramble more when the pocket begins to collapse i like and dont like when he does that, but i dont blame him when he has to work with inept coaches and a inconsistent Oline
never watched candadian football before and i watch the nfl so this is very weird 😅
Go Argos 💯
yes, argos go back to onterrible
How did the Argos do against the Bombers?
maybe someone should teach the lions on how to do a basic tackle
Same goes for the riders😩
I've been saying that for years: less dancing, more tackling...
@@Shmerpylike George Reed always said , act like you’ve been there before.
@@wintertime331 that guy was one of my heroes back in the day.
@@Shmerpy me too ! Got to meet him 5 years ago , huge honour !
glad i forced myself to stop watching after the 1st half
All riders must walk back to Regina ,they are terrible
@@SillySongs4Everyone2001 Me too. I thought last season was a fluke. The Roughriders are not a 6-12 team. Then this season happened, 6-9 currently. Now I’m thinking that the Roughriders just aren’t a good team anymore.
@@rdymond04 They did beat Winnipeg in the Labour Day game, but have been horrible ever since. Losing to Winnipeg the next game was understandable, but losing to Ottawa and Edmonton, was maybe reality setting in.
@@my3dviews Yeah true. Beating the Blue Bombers is hard, only good teams can do it (like the Lions and Argonauts for example). But losing to the Elks and Redblacks back to back showed that the Roughriders aren’t the team we thought they were when the season started.
