The Brothers - Flight Of Fancy

In this clip from episode 56 of the famous BBC drama The Brothers, we see the arrival of air freight boss Jane Maxwell played by Kate O'Mara. Her character takes an immediate dislike to the Managing Director of Hammond Transport, Paul Merroney, played wonderfully by Colin Baker. It would set the scene for countless battles between the two in the fight for supremecy on the Hammond Transport board.

The excellent MIke Pratt (Randall & Hopkirk) in his last TV role. Mike was ill around this time and sadly succumbed to lung cancer just a short time later. Still missed very much.

That Colin Baker guy would make a good Doctor Who. I can just see him now, in a truly horrible lurid patchwork coat that undermines his performance and makes him look like a clown...spouting lines and playing a character (written and devised by idiots) that will alienate the core audience and undeservedly make it look like Colin was to blame for the show not being very good anymore. Just as well that's only a daydream of mine, and that it never happened...

may have the wrong thing the head boss or one of the board was ther a brittish actor anthony bates destinqist sort person with swept back heair he was in lots of stuff but cant remember eany of them just liked him as a actor this mite not even be his name can eanny one help.
