- SiR joins Questlove Supreme to share a story of tenacity, self-growth, and personal discovery. The Inglewood, California singer details his years in the wing, working with others (including Jill Scott) as an engineer, writer, and producer. However, as SiR asserted his self-worth, he soon became an in-demand artist who eventually found a lasting home at TDE. Get to know an artist whose HEAVY story matches the title of his new album.

Fantastic and authentic interview! I respect SiR even more for being so transparent 🙏🏾
Amazing compliment. That's what we want to hear. Thank you.
That "John Redcorn" hit's... Excellent song, one of my favorite songs period.
So glad QLS talked about it
1 of the best pens in r&b
Agreed
Double back based on the interview... around the 25 minute mark has me pondering my own path, roads traveled on mainly those not. I'm dude that's been singing since I was somewhere between the age of 3 and 5. At 12 people would beg my mother to let me sing in their wedding. Sadly I was growing into (by then) the type of person who'd sing all day until someone asked me too. At 18 I would sing most of the mainstream male artist into a vocal grave without much effort. But never got comfortable with being on stage. I'm 51 and past my vocal prime now, but I still do it bettern most. Most of us would choose the financial things that come along with being good or great at music but most of us would also not choose awkardness and discomfort of being on the stage's display. Their are artist that's been in front of millions of people for years who tell you "it's still not a comfort zone for me. in fact it's oposite." they do a good job of pushing through.
Very much appreciate your real-time commentary on these recent QLS episodes.
@@QLSProducer Soul to Soul. The thanks and 🫡
And the fear of success is a real thing only because of what our minds shows it's going to be once there... financial blessing but a burden everywhere else...
SiR...is great!
Would have to agree
@@QLSProducer Great minds think alike..
'Chasing Summer' is 1 of best albums ever.
Word up!
Big up the famington Sir🤲🏽✊🏾
Dope people know dope people...
It's true.
Good shit as always quest!!! 1:08:09
Thank you!
I wish quest knew more about SiR i wonder what he thinks of his dilla tape
Perspectives was the better word to bve used in response to Quest question on writing with others... Quest is a muscian and not a singer/songwriter... his writing is from a place of orchestration... instrumentation... of course it's going to be hard from to see the benefit of writing a song with others.. especially when you're talking about writing words for a whole album.

People must think I am murdering Nazis, out-loud in the forest (it should be safe) ..the deer look at me funny, to continue foraging while ignoring my upset vegan storm of a character.
"..the Zapotec Indians, believe that lightning brings mushrooms." A few evenings ago, I had a mix playing those words, while fertilising a previously inoculated acre, with red heart-shaped hybrid fungi. Fortunate to have both, heart-shaped Pink Pans (actually purple) ..AND P. allenii hybrids, red caps.
..plenty of lightning during the overnight storm when I was indoors, yet low, rumbling thunder was all I heard.
I had a ritual first, I caught myself in the motion of ..rather than blowing alcohol from the mouth to area-cleanse, with spore-containing mushroom water instead ..a good start to the trek.
