this guy has got the voice to be a professional radio presenter in Ghana ignore the people in UK Ghana is ur country we love u no matter who u r life goes on bro
As a trader I can relate with this guy. He fundamentally know his stuff. He know how to trade technically but what destroy him was greed. He probably do not pay attention to the risk to reward ratio. I wish him all the best in life. God will bless you.
@@Harihar_Patel This ratio is calculated mathematically by dividing the amount the individual stands to lose if the price of an asset moves in the unexpected direction (therisk) by the amount of profit the trader expects to have made when the position is closed the reward.
it was the greed from above, top UBS's officials who wants to squeeze water out of a dry towel. He is a good human being, but was in the wrong environment of greedy corporation.
So true my brother, the word is more compound complex, so, innovation leads to inspiration and risk takers are entrepreneurs. The power of alliance to achieve one's goal is vital.
As long as profit motive exists the notion of a what he calls a social contract is a lofty idea with no takers. The solution for bank traders like Adoboli is to trade within the risk parameters set by the industry and stand by your personal convictions. Not possible? Walk away. Regardless of what they are told, Bank traders will always be scapegoated because they’re the ones pulling the trigger. To survive the game, they cannot think like pawns they are.
Oh ok, so this is why they forced him out of UK. It now makes sense. We are not new to this oppression and I hope he gets fulfilled in life. Deputy of Asonaba
He is too young to understand life, by the time he gets 40 years, then he will understand what life is about. You can't be gambling a whole lot of huge money without taking or asking directions from the senior management. He could have been a president in Ghana one day, but now I'm sorry he is going to carry it like a stone on his neck.
And maybe you need to understand that he was charged with looking after other people’s money. And be lost it. Which bit of that don’t you understand. And he was tried not by public opinion but by a jury and was found guilty. Any thing else is just an excuse.
Prudent care/Due diligence/Due Care is the ultimate responsibility of Management! It's management's fiducial responsibility to the customers and clients of the Bank. KweKu and other traders were given free reign with the mandate to be profitable at all cost. This was the beginning of the end, although, as individuals we ought to exercise judgement regardless of what our environment tells us. He is indeed a brilliant man and I have no doubts the world is still going to learn alot through and from him.
This could happen to anyone. Trading entails some risk. if you have nothing good to say about him, keep your mouth shut. They called him a trade wizard when he was making money for them.
Nonsense! If you have followed the story at all, you would know he was a really valuable employee because of his intelligence. He was encouraged to take risks by the very people who eventually threw him under the bus.

Very intelligent young man
Samuel Oyediran extremely intelligent
he is a criminal
Africa generally has a low IQ that's why people like you will call anyone intelligent.
Even criminals like Kweku

@@maxwellacquah3539 I agree with you. It is sad what happened to man. Trading is a risky business. Always dealing with probability.

I wish he could get over this trauma, Africa desperately needs his expertise and experience!
You're right.
He'll fit in nicely next to all your corrupt politicians.
That's all Africa has going for it
Splendid speech/interview, worthy of a book, no less.
Good luck in rebuilding the social fabric, tho. :D
Why accept responsibility for a collective decision u made with your team, including your CEO?
His team and boss probably shut his mouth...he did NOT do this alone.
Thank you Kewku

That doesn’t exonerate what kweku adoboli did. There are thieves everywhere, some get caught. That’s life
*Kweku's prison sentence should have been significantly less! He seems to be a fine gentleman.*
Smart
Wow
We would hire him in a jiffy

how can you be this intelligent and not realise that investment banks bring little value to society
No of course he didn’t. It was all one huge misunderstanding.
The fall guy... it could have been worse had he not report the issue.
Fall from grace
Mandela was in jail for 27yrs and never fell from Grace, and so this young man will succeed anywhere because UK isn't heaven to begin with!!!!
@@tafari988 Thanks Bro. He has not fallen, This ended up making him popular and showcasing him as an intelligent guy that he is
