Union faced RSC Anderlecht in the quarter-finals of the Belgian Cup.
Lapoussin opened the mark thanks to a magnificent run by Sadiki. Union were reduced to 10 men after Mac Allister had to make a tactical foul as the last man. However, Union's defense was strong and the club from Saint-Gilles even managed to double the score thanks to Rodriguez.
Anderlecht got one back in added time through Dreyer. Union was suffering the last minutes but got the win over the line.
An 8th consecutive win against neighbours Anderlecht and a place in the semi-finals of the cup!
