    What an amazing pianist. He isn't just playing; he's dancing with the piano. His soul speaks through every note, using the piano as its voice.

    One could write paragraphs of the level of expression Gould got out of this charming composition of Bach’s . It is everything . It goes beyond the realms of tempo beauty and sentiment . It is extraordinarily metaphysical this playing .

    Недавно услышала такое выражение, что класика потому класика, что произведения умнее и гениальнее авторов, они живут своей жизнью. Глен Гульд это доказывает своим исполнением. Гений Баха и гений Гульда дали новую жизнь произведениям

    I first heard this music in the late 70's or early 80's at Secondary School when the English teacher showed us the beginning of the film Slaughterhouse Five. Liked it so much I actually took one of my reel to reel tapes to school to this teacher and asked if he was able to record this music onto it. He did and it was great to be able to play it back at home. Even said to record it on fastest speed of 7 1/2 i.p.s. in order to get best quality recording!

    In a slightly earlier age of piano-musicianship, the Horowitz approach, with its seeming extreme-gentleness and naturalness, was not nearly as rare as the present day. His recodings of the same piece are even sweeter, if possible, and reveal the heart-essence of Schubert as few musicians could.

    IT IS EVOCATIVE FOR MANY OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF LIFE, BOTH HAPPY AND SAD, ACCORDING TO EACH ONE HAS TO LIVE. THE PROBLEM WITH GOULD IS THAT ALL THE OTHER INTERPRETATIONS OF GREAT ARTISTS ONE HAS THEM AS LOWER

  • @ferube4171
    @ferube4171 2 года назад +1

    ES EVOCATIVO PARA MUCHAS DE LAS CIRCUNSTANCIAS DE LA VIDA TANTO ALEGRES COMO TRISTES SEGÚN CADA UNO LE TOQUE VIVIR. EL PROBLEMA CON GOULD ES QUE TODAS LAS OTRAS INTERPRETACIONES DE GRANDES ARTISTAS UNO LAS TIENE A MENOS.
