Thank you for this. Have you had x100 bowens mount adapter reflector paint melting like we have on two of our units? Operating theatre was air conditioned to 20 degrees C, one light was up lighting open, the other was in a soft box.
You mean, the silver finish on the adapter’s reflector? No, but it is starting to have tiny tiny bubbles around but VERY minimal.its still performing as it should but just so you know its happening on mine too. But it’s not the entire area. Only on the side about 30% of the surface.
@@ArtVideoProductions thank you Sir, I was wondering if I did something wrong. I will have to fabricate a solution because all our shoots are long and whilst the x100s are brilliant, the reflectors appear incapable of withstanding the heat. I trust there are no metal alternatives already on the market?
Thanks for the detailed review. But I have to disagree. I think you can still use the X100 and pair it with the parabolic 90D and get some nice results.
@@Tonellacam that mount is metal and has some serious teeth. It can candle the 90 easily. Remember: NEVER adjust ANY modifier by touching the actual light as it’s floating in the middle of everything. ALWAYS grab the ADAPTER mount BY THE RING to move it or tilt.
@@ArtVideoProductions okay good because I was thinking of getting the 60cm for the molus g60 , and the 90cm for the molus 100x , even thought Zhiyun website says don’t get bigger then 60cm for either of them
A great workshop! More people need to watch this
Thanks Mike, I appreciate that.

@@DrRussell best thing to do is to email or Facebook message Zhiyun and attach images.

You sure can! 👍
It’s says on their website to only go as high as 60d / 60cm for molus 100x are you saying the 90d is not too heavy ?
