- After much delay, the crabs rise from the ground, and dance once more, to celebrate their grand achievements, featuring (almost, like 10% are left out) all the crabs(or "carapaceons").

I love how Rustrazor is just violently vibrating pretty much the whole time because it’s absolutely brimming with crack energy. And probably tetanus, but mostly crack energy.
Rustrazor is basically the embodiment of ADHD and I love it.
Doing their best to fight the overwhelming urge to sharpen their claws every five seconds.
Rustrazor: I got uh.. I g-g-g-g-got a sharpen my claws!
Fun fact: tetanus doesn't actually come from rust, its a bacteria in the soil. Its just that rusty objects tend to be dirty and so can be contaminated with tetanus from the soil.

Y’know… it reminds me a lot of the Shen Gaoren quest in Monster Hunter Online, with like 4 teams of 4 hunters
At first it looks like the 2 armies on each side were about to engage in combat. But in reality all the main line crabs had come together in order to celebrate 2 of there kin joining a 5 gen game.

no designs other than the core games were included though.
The only thing other than the rise renders sliding across the screen and a special Rise endemic crab was just an actual crab.
The frontier ones are currently in the grave, awaiting their awakening from Espinas

Speaking of the Frontier Carapaceons, how come Akura Jeiba and Vashimu were still classified as such when they should clearly fit in the Temnoceran category? I mean they were based off of scorpions which are part of the arachnid arthropod group which includes spiders

Yeah my 5th faiv monster ever is Taikun Zamuza. I just love his concept and his fight looks sick! Hopefully he returns one day if not in sunbreaks tittle update.

Just now realizing that beaches would be realistically swarmed like this and it makes me skin crawl
Watching this the first time was majestic. The effort into animating the carapaceons is exemplary .
Watching it the second time, noticing even more animation efforts, the Shogun and Daimyo waking as their smaller companions begin the rave, the subtle head tilts... The perfect timing with the song. I'm in awe.

Gotta love how not only the big bois have their own moves, but their lil buddies also have their own ways of making percussion. I.E, the snapping of pincers and patting them on the ground

I do really hope we get the rest of the Carapaceons from Frontier in the main series. The scorpion and the hermit crab are both really fucking cool(don’t remember their names because the one bad thing about Frontier is that damn naming scheme).
The Scorpion is called Akura Vashimu and the hermit crab is Baelidae. It actually comes from Monster Hunter Online and not Frontier. Other Frontier Carapaceons are Jebia Vashimu and Taikun Zamuza
This would be an interesting setup for a Rampage, all the Carapaceons heading for Kamura with Shen Gaoren leading
The Frontier Carapaceon representation is hella nice touch but I'll think of you, Onimusha.

When you unironically hope that Shen Gaoren comes back to the series in Sunbreak as a possible free update raid boss.
The Guild, meanwhile, is wondering who's dumping fermented felvine into the sea. At least they now know that it has the same effect on crustaceans it does on Felynes.
When the Shen Gaoren rose, I knew he was about to start dancing but when he did and also had after-images and the screen started shaking; that caught me off guard so sharply I laughed until my sides hurt.
i love and hate how well the crabs movements work as dances xD Also a reworked Shen Gaoren in the new Engine is something we definetly need for the next Monster Hunter game!

To my knowledge, 3d models and whatnot should be out and about for frontier mons and whatnot somewhere if you ask the right people or know where to look.
Also pretty sure Baelidae and the Akuras were set to be converted to Temnocerans if they ever returned.
