जबतक सनातनी अपने ग्रन्थों, पुराणों, शुद्ध साहित्यों का अध्ययन नही करेंगे सत्य से कोषों दूर रहेंगे और मत-पंतों को मानने वालों के आगे झुक जायेंगे क्योकि सत्य का तो ज्ञान ही नही होगा।

Now i really need a credible source to learn more about sanatan dharma. How i am supposed to correct and fight others if there are many source for sanatan. Which one is authentic and which is altered with time. The logic of where shivaji was getting ganja at the peak of mount everest is pretty true.
Read everything whether it is adulterated or true
The main thing is that later you compare with your intelligence to see which one is correct.
And most adulterated books have one thing in common -
As if something is said in the beginning and later things are found contrary to the same thing.
for ex in manusmriti -
-For the welfare of humanity the supreme creator Brahma, gave birth to the Brahmins from his mouth, the Kshatriyas from his shoulders, the Vaishyas from his thighs and Shudras from his feet. ( I-31,)
-God said the duty of a Shudra is to serve the upper varnas faithfully with devotion and without grumbling. ( 1-91)
But
-Manu Smriti 3.109 clearly states that one who eats by glorifying his Gotra or Family is considered an eater of his own vomit. and
-10.65: This shloka asserts that Brahmin can become Shudra and Shudra can become Brahmin. Similarly, Kshatriyas and Vaishyas can also change their Varnas.
- 3.112: If a Shudra or Vaishya comes as a guest, the family should feed him with due respect.
-3.116: A householder should eat from remaining food only after he has fed the scholars and servants (Shudras) to their satisfaction
The benchmark for interpreting any other scriptural texts is the Vedas. They are to be interpreted and accepted only to the extent they comply with Vedas. This is true for ALL texts including Smritis, Brahmans, Mahabharat, Ramayan, Geeta, Upanishads, Ayurveda, Neeti Shastra, Darshans, etc.
Manu himself announces in the Manu Smriti that Vedas alone form the foundation of Dharma.
2.8: A learned man after fully scrutinizing all this with the eye of knowledge should, in accordance with the authority of the Vedas, intent on the performance of his duties.

The irony is we hindu are disrespecting our past to become more modern and forgotten our roots and traditions. In Southern parts of India, hindu vivaah (marriage) use to happen in morning time between 10am to 11:30 am only.....you won't see hindu marriages happening after evening in southern part of India.
