My main motivation to learn more about graphic design is That I really love graphic design and it's a bit overwhelming to start with all those programs at once I wish this course will help me
I love when I can communicate with other people through design and art, it can bring joy and excitement to other people and myself as well. That's why I feel so motivated to learn Graphic Design.
When I see a good design, my heart warms up. It fills me with joy. I feel excited. When I buy a product that really looks good, I marvel at the every details of that product. I don't know why I feel that. Does it have any power? It looks good But I don't know how this good design became good. What the designer did that made me feel that way. I wanted to explore. I wanted to know so I can do the same. That's my motivation behind learning graphic design. I want to create things that fill people with joy, help businesses grow and fulfill my heart. I want to know the way to solve problems around me using design.
There is an architect by the name of Christopher Alexander, he has a book called the timeless way of building where he explore this phenomenon which he calls “The Quality without a name”
My mom told me that when I was young, I always had a better eye to see things, something I began to notice much later in my life. Currently, what motivates me to learn graphic design, is the admiration that follows me when I drop any of my designs? Something that motivates me to get better, so much that I always have a reason behind all of my design decisions. I hope I get to learn from you for free, as I am from Nigeria, and I cannot afford the course. Thank you.

I personally find a great deal of joy in being a part of the creative processes. Even if what I've done so far was limited to beginner activities, I thoroughly enjoyed learning about design and applying what I've learnt onto my own work. And I don't think I'll ever grow tired of being a part of this process. After all, what you can learn and do is limitless. Even Paula Cher says that she still hopes she hasn't done her best work yet. I find that really motivating.

In initial time as a b. tech student, a best coder with an outstanding Graphic designer can BUILD and BROKE anything but after start learning from you, this itself a motivation to see things carefully with a design perspective.
My main motivation of learning graphics is to express the ideas, presentations, and solutions more effectively as well as engaging for the viewers. I want to apply my graphics designing skills in almost everything that is visually seen online or offline whether it ranges from simple text document to a highly creative advertisement poster.
To be honest for me, I’ve been trying to searching for my passion. I tried coding and all other things but now I found my interest growing on designs. I’ve been learning Graphic design from last few weeks and always found myself pushing to create new things and found myself learning and growing with it.
FIrst of all, wanna say this channel has been a a life saver, thank you! As for the reason: I am in third year of a college for management. I wanted to study design but my father wouldn't let me because it is not "profitable" enough and management is. We are in a terrible financial situation and I will soon need to provide for my parents because they are getting old. This totaaally is a sob story, but it is the truth.. Design is my passion and I would love to have any chance of learning it more, and have the chance to prove my dad wrong!
I love to solve issue with visuals, also I have great love and passion for graphic design and it's the career I want to have for life. Life itself is design and I want to keep it up , learn , explore various means of expression.
My motivation to learn designing from YesImadesigner is your way of explaining concepts. I love designing and whenever I pass by any design I likely comment. Martin’s way of teaching is profoundly unique. Learning with you is a life ticket

I feel motivated the most when I watch great tutorials (like this one). Seeing those beautiful things man can create (knowing 2-3 graphic programs and the basic rules of the design and composition) I feel motivated and I wish to learn how to do it.
My main motivation to learn Graphic design is to bring my ideas to life with great composition. My motivation for learning graphic design is to be able to express my creativity in a whole new way. Moreover , many people in our country underestimate the value of graphic design and does not consider it to be a career option saying it to be financially unsafe I want to be a successful graphic designer and change their perspective about graphic design and even inspire them to be one.

I really love all your masterclasses and I know this one will be another great one too so I really want to learn with it because the 12 weeks is the best thing I ever saw :o
Graphic Design (GD) is such a deep field, you can either become a specialist in a few areas or a jack-of-all-trades. It comes with the challenge of visually creating something in a unique way often to grab someone's attention; but then good design is not always noticed (which is not a bad thing). In GD we never should never stop learning and I think that and the items mentioned above are my motivations for continuing to keep learning to GD. It is one of the few dynamic professions or areas where we are encouraged to keep learning from the past, present and future. GD is more than just the art or skill of combining text and pictures in advertisements, magazines, or books. AND that is one of the main reasons why I love it so much! ^_^
While I know that the 100 comments has been reached I was so moved by everyone else's comments, I just had to share my motivation! Such a great idea @Yes I'm a Designer team *thumbs up* indeed
My main motivation to learn graphic design is to grow my skill set to be more confident and creative in this field. I feel like I am behind my expectations and that is what I want to change. I do what I can to progress in my career and to make great designs. I want to do my best to support my clients in achieving their goals and delivering on their expectations. I want my future design projects to be as perfect as they can be. I feel like people understand communicate better in visual ways so I want to communicate with them better with my designs. I would really like to learn from pro graphic designers like you!

My main motivation for learning more about graphic design is my children. I want to be able to control my life work balance to spend more time with them and I would love to do that through graphic design! I have been freelancing for 4 years now although I have always drawn since a young child and I truly can say that I LOVE graphic design! It allows me to express visually what people can’t always say verbally and that is a beautiful harmony. (Ironically my oldest daughter is also really into art so maybe a family business in the works?) Graphic design will also allow me to help propel others in controlling their own destiny through businesses and startups. Being able to know exactly what to do to capture a brands identity that will help drive success subconsciously is my way of giving back to the world!
Thank you for your informative videos. I've reached an age where is it hard to find a new job (too old they say) but i have no intension of stopping work - so i've decided to start all by my self as a graphical designer and therefore i have to boost my knowledge. I have quite a good eye for composition as a former photogapher but i've realized i need more than that - and thats were you come in. Thank you in advance.
Hi Jens, glad you found our channel. It would be great to have you on board as a Pro Member so I can properly help you by giving feedback on your work. It's never too late to change your career
It all just started out because I couldn't find a designer for my game development...! But now graphic design is my whole career 🎉🎉🔥🔥🎉🎉 And that's my motivation to learn and aspire new things. 😀 Peace ❤️
Design was not my specialty before. However, after my wife gave birth to a child, I took over part of my wife's work on the layout of the printed magazine. In the process of work, it became clear that only knowledge of the programs does not make it possible to create memorable journals. So I started studying design and typography to learn how to create good magazines.
I searched for a lot of courses but almost all of them don't go this deep and good like this course and my main motivation is I really enjoy and love graphic design
My main motivation is my love for art. I aim to learn more about colour, typography, contrast, forms, and all the other fundamentals of art. While my pursuit is driven largely by curiosity, I aspire to transform this into a lifelong career.
Op de valreep! My main motivation for learning Graphic Design is that I love to create (beautiful website designs and illustrations). *thank you for these golden tips ^^
My main motivation for learning graphic design is so that I can apply it to board games that I make. As with anything, it is so important to have great graphic design on board games, so I want to improve my skills. Your videos help so much, so thank you!
For me, my main motivation is that I want to be better at graphic design. I've seen a lot of amazing graphic design works from designers and thought that how cool they are to create these awesome things. Actually, I find myself want to be like them someday, so I will keep practice on it and hope that one day I could make it.
I like motion, especially 2D animation. But before I can bring life to the 2D elements, first I have to know how to design a good-looking graphic design. Hence, I think learning Graphic Design will help me a lot for my goal and my future jobs
My main motivation for learning Graphic Design is because I want to do it professionally. I've loved messing around with it for so long, but I feel like there is still a lot to learn before I am able to offer my services.
Hello! Congrats for your useful channel, full with good tips from practice and beautiful design examples that you share. I'm so good surprising to see so much people that have different reasons to learn more about design. The question provoke me to share my story behind Graphic design. So, I'm sorry if it too long, but is special. For starting, I would share that I found the Art (painting, drawing, more traditional media) like a form, to express myself and my internal feeling after my father died. I was 6 years old and this Art form was the way I communicated with my family, something like an Art Therapy. With the years of learning Art and Design i would say that these two different Univers save my life. This is my biggest passion, it is inspire me to learn every day something new. Because I believe that Art and Design beautifully changing the life, transforming us, our everyday life and our planet. You ask what is our biggest motivation to learn? I hope so I'm answering to your question. What is yours? Ps: (My English is no perfect, I'm sorry)
It will be a great opportunity for me to learn from you. I am self learning designer and it will be really helpful for me. For me art evokes emotions, It is to find something that resonates with us and the world around us.
My motivation to learn graphic design is so I can have the opportunity to switch careers, be around creative energy and start working in the design industry before seeing whether I would can work my illustration skills into the job.
My main motivation for learning graphic design is to make a career switch to something where I can be more creative, with fewer restraints and broader applications than my current profession as an architect.
I would like to be Graphic Designer as I believe it would bring the best out of me as a person which would enable me to give back to society in contributing to making the world a better place.

Wow, I see this late but notwithstanding your video has helped me a lot especially as an illustrator because I am not that good at drawing and I am interested in motion. Your tutorial helped me a lot Please keep up the good work.
I own a stationery business and find myself very limited and overwhelmed when it is time to create new products. I have had to outsource design work and I would like to move away from that. I would really like to execute my own designs and have 100% ownership of my designs. Expanding my knowledge base would allow me to create faster and really any time of day and not have to worry about others deadlines.

My main motivation is the contribution and preservation of a unique quality inherent in art that reveals a poetic beauty within the experience of life itself. Science cannot calculate this quality, philosophy can only describe it and religion relies on the individuals connection to the unknown to harness a feeling but only art, is not illusive, yet it brings out something buried within life. Nothing else like it 🤓
My main motivation to learn more about graphic design is to help to solve my problems visually although I come a bit late for the giveaway I had to give you an answer .. thanks for everything martin
I enjoy creating. That is the main motivation. I can even get totally lost in just making small edits in a manual in indesign. As long as I'm creating ^^
My main motivation for learning graphic design is the books I self-publish, most of which are lavishly illustrated. I would also like to learn how to make book covers that look professional.
My motivation is just to broaden my horizon to get a better job in the future because I am just 16 I am want to become a finance independent member of my family when I am in the age of 18!
What is your main motivation for learning Graphic Design? I finished my BFA in Communication Design in December of 2020. I still feel like my technical skills and portfolio are not up to par to be competitive in the field. I am an Idea Maker at large, without the technical skills to back it up. So, I am hoping that any skills I can learn from this channel/bootcamp will propel me forward.
I started learning graphic design on my own last year, there is a multitude of educational content, but I feel overwhelmed and I need a structured program
It's curious that you call diagonals a "rule" of graphic design, rather than an element or an overall design direction which brings very particular qualities to your design like dynamics, movement and speed. However, certainly there are designs that require no diagonals or movement, say when you want to communicate something quiet and standstill. Or am i missing something here?
Because I see geometry everywhere, so much that it’s almost a compulsive behaviour of mine to check for color combination and geometry of anything and everything around
I would love to learn graphic design to help me improve my knowledge of layout and visual design skills. I’m currently reinventing my carrier path to UX/UI designer and I would really appreciate this opportunity to learn more.

Please keep up the good work.

Nothing else like it 🤓
