I graduated from WIU in 1975 as a business major. I spent most of my time as an upper classman in Stipes Hall. I lived in the Tanner Hall Dorm freshman and sophomore year. I was a member of the swimming team and we worked out (lived in!) the Western Hall pool. Seeing this video 50 years later, I don't recognize much of anything. So many changes. When I was there, WIU had a student population of about 15,000. A perfect size for the school. Some of my best memories are of those action-packed four years!

As a kid went to University School so I enjoyed seeing the things I viewed everyday.
I haven’t seen the campus since I finished in ‘79. It looks like a ghost town, and it seems like a couple dorms are gone.
Interesting history lesson. Thanks.
This is the University I am dreaming for in all my life ❤
I noticed a few of the best party houses were torn down 😔
Don't worry the kids are still getting wasted and screwing each other
The streets are as bad as 55 years ago when I was a student.
This video was so disorienting for me.
Then you better stop watching my videos, I don't want you to get dizzy and topple over
