For those of you who didn't understand what the Sheik was trying to explain: He didn't say bc of menstrual cycle that we women are somehow inclined to devlish acts/following Dajjal. It's that many women, during their menstrual cycle when they're not praying, forget to remember Allah and don't check themselves for doing certain things. Men get no break from prayer but women do, it's what you do with the 7 days break that can weaken your faith. I myself have personally experienced that right after my cycles, I tend to get lazy with waking up for Fajr and praying bc of the 7 days break in between! Wallahi its hard sister. Prayer keeps us focused and committed and it helps keep us away from sins. So when we stop for a little while, it's easier for Shaitan to influence us more again. And it's a psychological fact that we women are more intuned to our emotions than man. Sometimes it's a good thing as it helps us be more caring, nurturing and patient but other times, it can lead to emotional vulnerability. As men and women, Allah is testing us both with different tempations from the dunya. For men, it's lust, power, prestige, for women it's our soft heart and emotions that can make us vulnerable. Hope this helped you understand better. May Allah SWT save us women and strengthen our heart!! Remember, it's not impossible! We have our biggest motivation in the form of Mariam (RA), Aisha (RA), Khadijah (RA) and many more. JazakAllah Khairun and Ramadan Kareem!

I want to add another perspective.
For most of these reasons, majority of men these days do as well. Majority of our brothers look at and sway towards actresses and female idols. The majority of our brothers also talk gossip and so on. Our sisters may be predisposed to these, but unfortunately nowadays our brothers are just as deep into these sins even though they are not even as predisposed. May Allah swt protect us all. Ameen.
I want to bring a social factor into this discussion. I think feminism will a strong reason for women for going astray. The reason for most women following the ideals of feminism is because unfortunately our Muslim cultures have strayed away from our religion, and imposed undue and unjust hardships on women. This is the case for the generations above us. So when modern women see these injustices in Muslim cultures, they will associate it with Islam, and turn towards the West as examples of Equality, Justice, and Freedom.
A couple of examples: in Muslims cultures, it is far more abhorrent for women to have loose character than men. So much so that innocent rape victims are no longer treated equal members of our society. This is Jahilliya. Modern women work these days to SUPPORT their families as one income is not enough anymore. Yet, they are judged by their husbands, their families, and their in laws that they should also be cooking, cleaning, taking care of children, and serving/entertaining their husbands. If a boy approaches one of our sisters, no one questions him but they question the intention and character of our sister. Our elders openly say they women are not as intellectual as men and they should always humble themselves. But they never mention the Hazrat Aisha ra used to teach the Sahaba! Our elders will give you lectures about the importance of men and hadiths regarding that, but will forget all the hadiths that talk about wives and their rights. A divorced women is a taboo these days, though the Prophet pbuh married the his step son's ex-wife!
I think that because our cultures and societies have begun leaving Islam in its True and Just form for generations now, they have created a climate for our sisters to become easy prey for Dajjal.

But I think as an Ummah we have a responsibility to stop creating such a hurtful climate, instead of just saying "women are predisposed in their firtah" and if many of our sisters are going astray, well that's their problem. If as an Ummah, we don't see our mistakes leading to Dajjal's arrival and try to fix them, then we have failed as a community (not individuals, of course - that depends on our individual deeds).

If you are sad, complain to none other than Allah:
إنما أَشْكُو بَثِّي وَحُزْنِي إِلَى اللَّه

I have observed nowadays amongst my friends that they are blessed with girls. And boys born amongst my friend circle is very less. Allah knows the best.
Numbers factor nothing into it read the complete hadith.Then you will understand.
“(This is Allah’s way) regarding those who who convey the messages of Allah and fear Him, and do not fear anyone, but Allah.” (33:39)
“…and fear Me alone.” (2:40)
“Nothing will happen for us except what Allah has decreed for us. He is our protector.” (9:51)
Whatever our test is we must remember everything we do is for the sake of Allah swt. Our worship, our breath, our jihad it’s all for the end goal of receiving Jannah in sha Allah. And if we ever struggle with knowing if someone or something is good for us or harmful to us, truthful or deceitful we must remember if it’s good then when I compare it to what the Quran and sunnah says it will say the same and if it leads me elsewhere it is leading me astray. May Allah swt protect us from the temptation of the Dajjal and may Allah swt protect us and allow every Muslim to pass their fitnahs. Ameen.

The defensiveness in the comments alone is proof alone why the Hadith is true. I’m a woman myself so obviously it’s not commenting out of sexism. The fact that humility and acceptance is a lacking is the problem. How are we to argue with Allah’s wisdom? Why is mentioning of any lacking that a woman may have in Islam something that gets us up in arms? How is this defiance not an answer to the inquiry itself? Try to humble yourself and accept Allah’s wisdom in whatever capacity it is you can. If something feels unjust gain knowledge versus outright denying something that may have truth in it and may be a lesson for you.

Yes many sisters here are getting defensive. Yet this uploader has made many videos targeting issues related to men as well, including about p*rn and other big problems and most comments aren’t complaining there. The fact many sisters are trying to fight this Hadith is ironically proving the Hadith itself.
Swear that's exactly what I was thinking. 🙌🏻. Women aren't accepting what has been said. And that was one of the reasons that made me think how true these hadees are.

Asalamu Alakum brother, From what I’ve seen though, it’s true. I go to an all girls school, and backbiting is such a big thing in my school I actually never knew it was wrong until I started going to Islamic school. I remember when my teacher mentioned how bad backbiting is and how we need to stop the habit if gossiping. I was so shocked, I even said "if it’s so bad, then why does everyone do it?". I was so ignorant about the topic when it came to my religion to the point I doubted my own Islamic teacher. Anyway my point is, I believe women are falling into the habit of gossiping and backbiting more then man, at least from what I’ve seen.

Not so much that, but it's a presupposition that isn't really accurate. I have stopped caring much about other people because Allah swt blessed me with so much loss, I am trying to rectify my behaviour as much as I can. As the previous comment suggests it doesnt mean 100% of women, it means the majority. Neither of my parents backbite and I grew in a household where backbiting never existed and alhamdulillah as a woman I dont struggle with backbiting, but it doesnt mean I dont see more uneducated women than uneducated men who backbite a lot (I clarify as uneducated because education can help with struggling with sins). this can also be due to the fact that men work during the day while women have free time to sit together and backbite. we should take these kinds of ahadith/verses as warnings instead of insults because they arent insults. both men and women are created in different predispositions which may become weaknesses in an aspect and strengths in another aspect. may Allah help us acquire true knowledge of Islam and act upon it ameen.

Is this scholar serious? He uses a natural phenomenon such as menstrual cycle given to women by Allah to state they're somehow Inclined to the dajjal/devilish acts
b/c of this? My goodness, that they're more emotional and will just follow anyone? He has implied how as women we're so lacking intellect, Iman that it's almost a guarantee we will be followers of whatever sin is around the corner. Rather than creating a positive image of how women contribute to society and actually can be and are god fearing,we have someone denigrating women primarily because they've been given periods or more emotions. I feel sorry for his wife/daughters who he very likely considers to be less Muslim, without Iman because they have periods.

I think you missed his point, he didn't say bc of menstrual cycle that we're somehow inclined to devlish acts. It's that many women, during their menstrual cycle when they're not praying, forget to remember Allah and don't check themselves for doing certain things. Men get no break from prayer but women do, it's what you do with the 7 days break that can weaken your faith. I myself have personally experienced that right after my cycles, I tend to get lazy bc of the 7 days break in between! Wallahi its hard sister. Prayer keeps us focused and committed and it helps keep us away from sins. So when we stop for a little while, it's easier for Shaitan to influence us more again. And it's a psychological fact that we women are more intuned to our emotions than man. Sometimes it's a good thing as it helps us be more caring, nurturing and patient but other times, it can lead to emotional vulnerability. As men and women, Allah is testing us with different tempations from the dunya. Hope this helped you understand better. JazakAllah Khairun and Ramadan Kareem!

I agree to most of your points but find it hard to believe that more women will follow the dajjal than men just because they’re vulnerable - don’t forget that there will come a time where there will be far more women than men on earth.
So I believe due to women being more dominant that’s why the percentage of women who will follow dajjal is higher than men.
The hadith talks about the vulnerability of women in certain area and if “the men” put them together they (the men) can say perhaps these vulnerabilities are the reason why the majority of the women will follow the dajjal.

Inner challenges are things like our natural predisposition, our emotional, mental, cognitive, hormonal etc states. Outer challenges are everything we see around ourselves. Then Allah sent messengers to humans to warn them of these sins and teach them the right path 6:48 "We have sent messengers only as deliverers of good news and as warners. Whoever believes and does good, there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve.", so that He may test them which ones will be the best in deeds. 67:2 "[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving -" Allah does not punish someone due to their nature, Allah punishes (if and when He wills) those who do not take heed from warning 7:3 "‘Follow what has been sent down to you from your Lord; do not follow other masters beside Him. How seldom you take heed!’" 39:9 "What about someone who worships devoutly during the night, bowing down, standing in prayer, ever mindful of the life to come, hoping for his Lord’s mercy? Say, ‘How can those who know be equal to those who do not know?’ Only those who have understanding will take heed.", those who do not put in the due effort to avoid what they were warned about. Allah is al-Adl, the absolute just.

For the people who are offended, please don’t be because there are great things that are said about women that aren’t said about men.
