These videos have been LIFE CHANGING for me as I'm an audio visual learner, similar to many of your followers. I can NOT thank you enough!!! You are a true talent!
Heidi Rivera Im a fourth year medical student and every single one I know and even dont know... smart or average... says they are visual learners... I believe no one is not a virual learner and there are just students who has extra capabilities of understanding the book with ease...
Nobody teaches the way you do Prof. Zach Murphy. I am not a medical student, someone with
ongoing quest for knowledge and to hopefully find the underlying cause(s) of my chronic nerve pain.
I tell all my friends to tell their kids in med school to subscribe to you. You are a gift to this world ! God bless, grateful beyond words. Aloha from Oahu, Hawaii
He is the best teacher ever!
From Nigeria 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬, Pre clinicals is fun with Zach and Ninja nerd team.
Each Medical Student, need to pray that we have this man!
Your hand drawn illustrations and the way you clarify things is commendable.
is there a way to mass "like" all the vids? seriously, blessss youuuu. I'm a very visual learner and at uni profs seem to teach from a super sciency researcher technical point of view, so all the intricate details never clicked and got me super overwhelmed. and here comes this channel to show me NO it IS possible to "science" (using it as a verb here hah) as a former painting student.
🎈
Each time am not attending lectures, reading books, I relax from Ninja Nerds videos, am a Ninja Nerd for life, I love Ninja Nerd❤️
Thank you so much!! Class got moved online and stuck at home trying to stay calm in the midst of all the chaos while studying for exams. I am also a visual learner and your explanations and diagrams are easy to follow. I agree with a fellow reviewer...you are a true talent.

This is plain high quality content mate.
I always wondered what was the need for the counter current mechanism. Osmolality at start and end was the same.
I have finally figured out the purpose was to create the hypertonic area in the medullary interstitial. The hypertonic area in the medullary interstitial pulls in water from the collecting duct. The mechanism of water transport from the collecting duct is controlled by ADH hormone. Thus by manipulating the ADH secretion, water removal and thus urine concentration is increased.
This also explains the beer urination. Alcohol prevents ADH thus increasing water volumes in the urine.
You are so awesome, a true ninja indeed. Thank you, Sensei! 🙏🏼
Vids been shot three years ago before I was in primary but then still helping me a lot Asif it is made for me alone

Your videos are just love😍
You are so amazing. I just cannot imagine ever knowing this in such dynamic detail, even if I had all the time in the world without the need to cram it all in to regurgitate for exams. How did you teach yourself? Did you practice doing demos on a white board over and over?
you really are my hero

🙏
Love U 3000 ❤️
We are Ninja Nerds 🥷
You are the best one !!
I have a question @ninjanerd. U said 15%, of water is being reabsorbed in the descending limb, while about 25% of Salt is also being reabsorbed in the Ascending limb. But then u also said, that by Obligatory water reabsorption, an equal amount of Salt reabsorbed will also mean an equal amount of water reabsorbed. Then my question is, why is it 15% water reabsorbed in the descending limb, and 25% salt reabsorbed in the Ascending limb and not 15% water and 15% Salt reabsorption?
Thank you so much 💕💕
🙋🏻♀️ thank you so much
Thank you so much🤍
Super helpful!!! thank you thank you!
Awesome videos! very helpful
Thank you 😊😊
Really thank you 😭❤️
I LOVE YOU NINJA
Guyton better start taking notes
Zach thanks very much... as always, excellent.
learnt a lot. just quickly... you explained why we need the counter current exchanger. thanks. but why do we need the counter current multiplier mechanism. why do we need to maintain the salinity gradient?
Thankyou sooo much sir🥰🥰
Great explanation
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love the videos. Please keep it up.
As always it was the great one. I just have 1 doubt, what if the calcium level in the blood in not low (hypocalcemia)?? if blood calcium is not low then it can't stimulate the parathyroid gland to secret PTH and if PTH is not secreted it can't help is calcium reabsorption. then how will calcium reabsorbed?
please answer/reply if you think that the doubt is valid.
Really thank you!!!!!!
Amazing!!!
