    hello. all Scale RC subscribers 😀
    This is RCMK x Smithmaster. We are the Korean company that made the car in this video.
    It's awesome! This RC car body protection is just the right size. Our RC car has gained new energy. Can't wait to see the SCR Pro running hard on the beaches of America.
    Thanks for providing useful information for your users.
    Thanks for the great videos. ❤

    It's an incredible big-sized RC car. The sound is also very good. I want to see it racing off-road.😁❤️👍👍👍

    Man i can't believe you're 2 videos in and still haven't shown this thing running. YOU'RE FIRED!!! 🤣🤣 I wonder how getting parts for this bad boy will go? thats the biggest con I can see with it.

      @allscalerc  7 месяцев назад +1

      I'm fired so I guess I never get to drive it. 😟Looks like this chassis was shared from the XCR and there might be parts here fadshobbies.com/?s=Xcr&post_type=product. Now you know my run footage will not even come close to yours!!! You have been killing it lately! I'm going out on the beach today, hopefully it all goes well. 👍👍👍👍

    You can always tape the tires or run the new belted tires they have out.

      @allscalerc  7 месяцев назад

      I've seen but never tried the tape method. I will look more into that. I really want paddles but not finding the size I want. everything I see is under 7 or over 8 inches. Looking for 7.5 by 4 inches. Thank you for watching. 👍👍👍👍

    I think you should still upgrade the ESC to a 12S-capable ESC...but, stick with the stock motor, and continue to run it on 8S. The fact that the ESC can handle higher voltage means you can increase pinion size and/or decrease spur size, giving it faster speeds, while not overloading the ESC. Plus, you could always switch to a slightly lower kv motor with the ESC, while simultaneously decreasing the pinion/spur ratio, which would simultaneously increase speed, whole also lowering the ESC's power output to the motor.
    I still see the left-side weight bias problem potentially causing problems. Since relocating the center spool/diff & center driveshafts would be too difficult (but, not necessarily impossible), maybe you can come up with a way to mount the LiPo packs on opposite sides of them chassis. While it wouldn't produce a 50/50 left-right balance, it would get it closer to 50/50 than it currently is.
    Since you can't weigh the car (no worries, and no apology needed...I know about the SkyRC corner weight system max weight limitation), there is another way to get an idea of the left-right weight bias. If won't give you the weight...but, it will show you if the left-side bias is 'minor', or 'major'. Pick up the car (body can be on, or off, but batteries need to be installed) with one hand holding the front, they other holding the rear. When picking up the car, hold it by the front & rear bumpers, as close to centered as possible, using only two fingers (thumb & pointer finger) at each end. I know it's heavy...but, you'll only need to hold it up for 5-10 seconds max. In building the car with only those four fingers, if the car isn't perfectly balanced left-right, the heavier (ie. left) side will droop. If it only droops slightly, the left-side weight bias is 'minor'. But, of the left side REALLY drops lower, that will show you the left-side weight bias is 'major' (which is what I've been assuming).
    Whatever the outcome, you'll have a better idea of what possible problems there might end up being. Also, you're one step closer to convincing me to buy one. 😁

      It looks like this chassis was sold in a gas buggy form as the XCR-1000. That would explain why the center diff was offset to accommodate for a bigger gas engine. That is also probably why all the electronics are on one side since it's where there was the most space. Putting a second battery tray on the opposite side would definitely sort this thing out.
      lol I'm not trying to convince you. Just enjoying the hobby and learning as I go. 😂😂👍👍👍👍

      @@allscalerc The "originally designed for gas engine" thing makes sense, especially being 4WD (as opposed to something that is 2WD gas/electric, such as the VESLA.5 from Kraken RC). However, in looking at the Losi 5ive-T 2.0 (which I'm also planning on getting), which is a gas vehicle, you can see what they did with the center drivetrain (the front center driveshaft is also at an angle, albeit, not as much...but, fir the rear center driveshaft, the rear ring & pinion is offset, similar to how some crawlers use front axles with offset pumpkins, which allows the rear center driveshaft to go almost straight back. To counter the potential driveshaft angle problem, I might have a solution...but, it would depend on the lengths of the front & rear center driveshafts. The possible 'solution' would involve using the trident-style driveshafts available for the Hobao VTE2 and/or Arrma Limitless. Don't know if they'd work...but, could be worth a try (I'm willing to be the "guinea pig", but it would be several months).

      @ninthislandrc I ordered a 5T in the blue months ago. It's on backorder at TowerHobbies.com. I was considering canceling my order it's taking way long, and now I have this. I'll send you the drive shaft measurements if you like. 👍👍👍
