Wow what a fun trip with your family. I don't understand it, but I kept having ringing In my ears while watching this video. I have found several places along streams in Eastern part of the us that had ringing stones. They are fun. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒🎶🎵
One time I was there and a college music group played songs! I live 4.5 miles from there and often walk up there to keep in shape. It is a very special place!
Very cool! I just love your videos. You, Jim, Kava and all of your kids seem like amazing people. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself and all of them with us! You really ROCK❣
I’m so glad you did the Ringing Rocks Katie!!! I go to Pipe Stone to rockhoud lots, and have tried to drive to Ringing Rocks, but that road was murder on my car. I feel like I was there with your family ♥️😊
Kate, it's rather obvious your family means the world to you (as they should)! All the best to the also adventurous "kids" heading for NY. That should be quite the experience you can give the channel some updates on; when appropriate (especially the acting part of it)!
‘Saw a place in Africa with musical rocks. So nice to get your beautiful family together. I fully admit I am biased towards the west. I am sure your kids will do well anywhere, but maybe, after some time, they will come back. Meanwhile, you can visit and seek out eastern rocks😀
i was recently in Three Forks, and did some rock kicking down on hwy 2 at that boat launch site. One nicely polished rock I found rang like this, almost painful as I carried it to the car alongn with some other Jaspers, etc. I think it was this kind of rock. I want to slice it, and make a wind-chime! Looks like you all had FUN!
It really does! Geologists don't agree on how they formed - EITHER it was through erosion (water seeping into cracks and freezing), or the rocks came from the peaks of the nearby pass. I think it's fascinating that they just don't know the answer.
Oh Kate......you have a wonderful family. Thank you for taking us and educating us and sharing with us. Those are incredible boulders
Thanks for joining us!

Wow, how cool would that be! I wanted to do that, but quickly realized there was no way to do so without LOTS of time investment. :D

What do you find in Pipestone? The road to Ringing Rocks is definitely a 4WD experience - maybe you can find someone with a Jeep. :)

I am a westerner deep in my heart - but I can appreciate other areas too. :)

I wonder if they would chime if you sliced them - interesting question! We did have a great time.
HI MISS.KATE!! I'VE FINALLY MADE IT HERE, BUT, WASN'T FEELING TO GOOD EARLIER, BUT I'M BETTER NOW THOUGH.
Glad you are better.
How did ALL those BIG rocks get there?
Geologists disagree. Either erosion of one big mass, or rocks from a nearby peak.
❤️❤️
:)
Hey there!!!!!
Hiya!
higelty-pigelty....my new favorite word! LOL!
:)
Ping!🙂
:D
OH OK, I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN MISS.KATE, I BARELY CAN STAND A WATCH ON MY WRISTS TOO MA'AM.
:)
FReAKY🤔😦😲🙃😮😬😨😨😨CAVES......
Yes, kinda scary.
So weird. I wonder how it formed 🤔 looks like someone just dumped a pile of giant gravel
It really does! Geologists don't agree on how they formed - EITHER it was through erosion (water seeping into cracks and freezing), or the rocks came from the peaks of the nearby pass. I think it's fascinating that they just don't know the answer.
Make a canoe out of that fallen🌲🌲🌲 tree
Ha, I think it's too far gone for that.
If they touch the ground, the ground dampens the sound; they won't ring. Perched on another rock, they have the freedom to vibrate and rinjg.
HEY MISS.KATE, WHAT KIND OF JEWELRY DO YOU WEAR MA'AM?
Hi, Sharon. Sometimes a necklace, always a wedding ring.
Someone needs to figure out the tones and be able to do a musical!
It's challenging.
JUST ROCKS there? Out of this WORLD!👽👽👽👽👾👾👾
