The minute i finished watching one of your videos (the first for me) i’ve decided i will move to the country side. Couple of weeks later we were packing our things and moving from the big city to my grandmother old house, in a small, dusty and rusty village from the south of my country. Years of watching and enjoying, and learning from you, guys, and still can’t get enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you!❤
I absolutely love your videos and your home! They’re such a huge source of inspiration for me. I’m from Argentina, and my husband and I live in a very old family home that’s been passed down through generations. It’s an Italian-style house with a million problems. We’re constantly working on it, but sometimes it feels like an overwhelming, never-ending task. It’s easy to get caught up in the “perfect homes” we see online and think, “Ours will never look like that.” But your videos remind us that perfection isn’t necessary. You don’t need a flawless house to create beauty and a home. So, I just wanted to say thank you for that!

My partner and I have just purchased our first ever house, and it's an 1830s farmhouse that's been abandoned for a few years and not well cared for some years before that. I hope to make a video very similar to this 9 years down the road. I've been feeling discouraged in the last day or so about the rehab progress on the house, so this video came at just the right time. :D

I always get a bit teary when I see your house, it gives me the same lovely feeling that I try to cultivate with my family every day, even though we live in a little bungalow in the suburbs. My favourite part about your house renovations is how it seems like you “listen” to your house. One RUclipsr I love used to always mention that she always listened to the house when making any changes, and everything always seems to fit so beautifully well.
Not sure why you call it scruffy....it's beautiful, organic like it was always meant ot be. The vines, shrubs, greenery are wrapping themselves around your home...like a big cozy comfort quilt. I love it!

And "Greek Villa" is such a beautiful white paint - I used it a couple of years ago re-doing upper kitchen cupboards. It's the perfect slightly-cream color, goes as well with your vivid blue trim as it did with my muted olive bottom cupboards.
Your home is darling! Our home is 2,400 sq. ft. and my hubby and I brushed our whole house to repaint it after 10 years. We did it in the hot Georgia summer too. We are older now and there is no way we could now. 😂 It was some work but so much cheaper than hiring it out.

Love the recipe, printed and will use next year, this year, here on the east coast, most of us didn't have good tomato harvest, probably the drought. But question, I noticed you left the skins on, curious to see how you prepare it after you open the jar to cook with them. Also, we live in an old house that has been under renovation for decades.
