Perhaps, little bit unsure what happened here, I think the throw was being looked at again, for consideration to Ippon, and the hold gained Ippon. Perhaps the throw had 2 side referees adjudicating IPPON? It was a comical moment, in a well refereed tournament.

the team on scoring must agree with you. It certainly seems hard Ippon, easy waza-ari these days
Does the ref go to score Ippon for the throw, then look at the table and score Waza ari?
