The fact that Felix has an intervertebral disk herniation so wasn’t able to do a lot of the dance is still mind boggling to me since he kills this performance with just his charisma 💜

Fun facts about SKZ and (G)I-DLE are that, among all the 4th gen fandons, they are the ones who get along the best. And both were considered monster rookies of 2018. Both has a producer line. And both are my favorites groups.

(G)-IDLE and SKZ are both a league of their own even though they are competing against each other for music show wins currently but it's a competition that's totally worth it and i love both the fandoms for being so supportive and encouraging of each other 💖

I discovered kpop with I-dle and that lead me to becoming a Stray Kids stan. I'm not moving any further because those 2 groups are such a high standard musically and creatively speaking...
They are the outside the box savage ones that the industry fails to really control, and I'm all un for it!
Yuqi is so amazing. She absolutely killed it in "My Bag" which was a b-side for this album (they do have live performances of it) and of course in her solo song "Bonnie & Clyde". Not to mention her on LearnWay season 1 (and her appearance on season 2 where she had to teach Mijoo Chinese).

The girls really did an awesome job with this comeback, I mean they always do so it's not a surprise. I don't get tired of shuhua's "la la la" part. This concept really suits them all but Yuqi is just...Wow this is her era. Plus the "just me idle" is pretty good. I mean overral this concept is so cool and they did it pretty well.
It's the first time watching the "maniac" choreography and gosh it's so good. I don't know why but I'm feeling attacked by Changbin's hips movement at 8:57 lol, I don't wanna sound weird saying that. Plus Felix singing the first part of the first chorus was a really good choice. And the way that Lee Know's delivered his part of the chorus...amazing. And Chan's high note, at leat I think it's him I love it.
This two groups always surpass the expectations. This two comebacks are just chef kiss.

The concept in Tomboy and Mybag match Yuqi didi so well. The time in China filming Variety shows has helped her a lot I think. Between filming a couple of Music Survival shows and being in Just Running She is on top.

Hehehe, Don't worry about that. This was so much fun. These performance videos were amazing. Their live stages were insane too. Especially, I just fell in love with Straykids a long time ago. For me, their songs are just masterpieces. I really appreciate songs of (G)I-DLE too.

Yuqi definitely transformed this comeback. She probably learnt a lot from her solo activities in China where she did a ton of performances. She was good before, but she's gotten better.

you're wrong about YUQI she's alway's bad ass ,she's casualy savage and bad ass real life ,but she also got a very cute side . her cute side is the 2nd side so in that comebak she show the true her . like you said most of people think often about SOYEON to be the bad ass of the group but SOYEON also got her cute side . it's not really often but she can be very cute . for MINNIE like you saw on QUEENDOM she's really shy .so in this comeback i think than SOYEON want buil her group as a group of all rounder all charismatic members . she think than she as to because the industry is so though and all new girls group got very big potential . so she level up they're game .

I really liked the bit at the end where you talk about your journey into the world of K-pop. As a fellow metalhead, my friend and family were surprised by this new music I've gotten into and they still don't get it but you hit the nail on the head (as you always do). It's more than the music. It's literally EVERYTHING that goes into these comebacks from the sound to the choreo to the visuals and the depth of everything else in between. It's like you have to experience it to get it.
This is getting kind of long but if, by chance, you've read this, could you possibly check out some of EXID's past releases? They are the group that converted me. While they don't have lore like other newer groups, their videos are very stylish and the songs, mostly written by LE, are great.

Yuqi spent a certain amount of time alone in China, without (g)idle. That is to say without her family of the last 5 or so years. She is always fighting with Miyeon or Minnie and helping Shuhua, arguing with Soyeon. They are like sisters. In China, she was a star; first on running on with Angelababy and Lukas. She did stage boom with other stars from the9 and Bonbon girls and Vava who are well known. She did solo work and was in fashion magazines and interviewed as a star from a distant country, but still a chinese girl, not entirely alien but different. She sometimes,on vlive, showed that solitude was tough on her. So she was cute and still is but she has done some living . That is the real Yuqi, i believe. she was never a minor cog in the machine, but now she is taking her place. Her interactions with the other members remains the same, but you see that all of them have matured. I am happy thet this comeback was so succesfull because Kpop can be magnificent but it is a killer sometimes.Reactors are normally fair towards the idols but ktubers, at least some of them, no all thankfully, are so crass as to easily be considered as hateful in their comments. (G) idle is succesfull and that brings jealousy. Let us love those girls. As for Stray kids, i do not really know them but they seem very talented. thank you for this reaction.

You are absolutely right in the end of your reaction. K-Pop is doing what Micheal Jackson did, only continuing it in this day and age. Western Media looks at K-Pop and thinks its only for teen girls, which doesn't make sense, since the sponsors for K-Pop Groups are Samsung, Hyundai, Kia and K-Pop groups lead charities or awareness. I'm really sad when people just look at K-Pop and say wow, the look sooo good, without giving the lyrics a thought. These groups and Idols are quickly stealing the spotlight from Western Artists. Their Videos carry plots and each choreo holds your attention, sometimes even working within plotlines. K-Pop isn't just a genre, it's an Industry, taking a ton of genres, making them shine or even creating their own genres. I know exactly what you mean when you say it's intoxicating, once you're in you are in! I came to a point where I can almost no longer enjoy western productions, they all seem like lacking a point as great as they can be. Kpop is just all-round experience, once you taste it you don't wanna go with any other dish!

@@DGReacts yeah sadly people call her ugly bc "she doesn't fit in the korean beauty standard" that's why I even saw people that said such things like "I can't even watch gidles mvs bc she's so ugly" and stuff like that it's really ridiculous but in fact she got rejected by A LOT of companies for her looks :/ but it brought her to the point where she now is - a charismatic queen and the best female rapper of the 4th gen:)
Yeah, she got hate when she was on Produce 101 and Unpretty Rapstar 3 (and she was a minor while on those shows!). It was sad to see her say something along the lines of "I know I'm ugly" when the producers asked her about what was said about her during one of the diss challenges on Unpretty Rapstar. I know nowadays she also gets hate for being cocky, but fuck that shit. She can be as cocky as she wants. She has earned her place in the industry.
