(G)-IDLE and SKZ are both a league of their own even though they are competing against each other for music show wins currently but it's a competition that's totally worth it and i love both the fandoms for being so supportive and encouraging of each other 💖
Yes, STAY and Neverlands are basically cousins or siblings. I discovered kpop with I-dle and that lead me to becoming a Stray Kids stan. I'm not moving any further because those 2 groups are such a high standard musically and creatively speaking... They are the outside the box savage ones that the industry fails to really control, and I'm all un for it!

Yuqi is so amazing. She absolutely killed it in "My Bag" which was a b-side for this album (they do have live performances of it) and of course in her solo song "Bonnie & Clyde". Not to mention her on LearnWay season 1 (and her appearance on season 2 where she had to teach Mijoo Chinese).
The girls really did an awesome job with this comeback, I mean they always do so it's not a surprise. I don't get tired of shuhua's "la la la" part. This concept really suits them all but Yuqi is just...Wow this is her era. Plus the "just me idle" is pretty good. I mean overral this concept is so cool and they did it pretty well. It's the first time watching the "maniac" choreography and gosh it's so good. I don't know why but I'm feeling attacked by Changbin's hips movement at 8:57 lol, I don't wanna sound weird saying that. Plus Felix singing the first part of the first chorus was a really good choice. And the way that Lee Know's delivered his part of the chorus...amazing. And Chan's high note, at leat I think it's him I love it. This two groups always surpass the expectations. This two comebacks are just chef kiss.
The concept in Tomboy and Mybag match Yuqi didi so well. The time in China filming Variety shows has helped her a lot I think. Between filming a couple of Music Survival shows and being in Just Running She is on top.
With every reactor I wait for that moment where they turn from reactor-analyst to absolute fanboy and realize the GOLDMINE of audio visual experience that is KPOP on all aspects of the production. I really liked the bit at the end where you talk about your journey into the world of K-pop. As a fellow metalhead, my friend and family were surprised by this new music I've gotten into and they still don't get it but you hit the nail on the head (as you always do). It's more than the music. It's literally EVERYTHING that goes into these comebacks from the sound to the choreo to the visuals and the depth of everything else in between. It's like you have to experience it to get it. This is getting kind of long but if, by chance, you've read this, could you possibly check out some of EXID's past releases? They are the group that converted me. While they don't have lore like other newer groups, their videos are very stylish and the songs, mostly written by LE, are great.

She is always fighting with Miyeon or Minnie and helping Shuhua, arguing with Soyeon. They are like sisters. In China, she was a star; first on running on with Angelababy and Lukas. She did stage boom with other stars from the9 and Bonbon girls and Vava who are well known. She did solo work and was in fashion magazines and interviewed as a star from a distant country, but still a chinese girl, not entirely alien but different. She sometimes,on vlive, showed that solitude was tough on her. So she was cute and still is but she has done some living . That is the real Yuqi, i believe. she was never a minor cog in the machine, but now she is taking her place. Her interactions with the other members remains the same, but you see that all of them have matured. I am happy thet this comeback was so succesfull because Kpop can be magnificent but it is a killer sometimes.Reactors are normally fair towards the idols but ktubers, at least some of them, no all thankfully, are so crass as to easily be considered as hateful in their comments. (G) idle is succesfull and that brings jealousy. Let us love those girls. As for Stray kids, i do not really know them but they seem very talented. thank you for this reaction.

Western Media looks at K-Pop and thinks its only for teen girls, which doesn't make sense, since the sponsors for K-Pop Groups are Samsung, Hyundai, Kia and K-Pop groups lead charities or awareness. I'm really sad when people just look at K-Pop and say wow, the look sooo good, without giving the lyrics a thought. These groups and Idols are quickly stealing the spotlight from Western Artists. Their Videos carry plots and each choreo holds your attention, sometimes even working within plotlines. K-Pop isn't just a genre, it's an Industry, taking a ton of genres, making them shine or even creating their own genres. It was sad to see her say something along the lines of "I know I'm ugly" when the producers asked her about what was said about her during one of the diss challenges on Unpretty Rapstar. I know nowadays she also gets hate for being cocky, but fuck that shit. She can be as cocky as she wants. She has earned her place in the industry.
