  • This is the Joyo Tidal Wave, their take on a very popular studio ampless device from N.Y. In this demo, I'll be putting it to the test with a few riffs and different genres and settings.
    I'm a Stringjoy artist and play their set of Broadways on all my electric guitars.
    I play the 10/13.5/17/28/38/50 on all my Gibson and Epiphone. I play the 9.5/13/16/26/36/48 on my Strat and Telecaster.

    Awesome demo 😎🤘🏻🎸 I have the same preamp pedal and it sounds phenomenal. Especially with my effects. Speaking of which, it sounds awesome with the chorus and distortion pedals

    Nice bass work bro! Do you prefer flats or round wound strings on your basses?

      @TheToneLounge  6 месяцев назад +1

      @@bigchrisgulley66 it depends. I really enjoy flats on the P-bass but prefer rounds on the Ray34.

      @TheToneLounge yeah I've always gravitated towards the flats myself but really dig the brightness of the round.

    How would youcompare this to the Monomyth as “main sound” for your general bass tone through a PA (direct to desk).

    Great playing - killin' it tone-wise in the mixes ! - Is it more versatile than Caline's Wine Cellar? Does it run long on a 9v battery? (I'd like one for a little TPA3116 amp battery rig)

      I can't say for sure, as I've never played that pedal.

      Using my headphones I can hear the bass, but it does seem to be a few DBs lower than the rest of your mixes. Which i guess is ok if your play as support like in the 2nd mix, but is disappointing if your playing as character such as I your 3rd mix.
      But it was overall a nice range of styles. Thank you.
