Wow thanks for this amazing throwback. I was 15 at the time in Michigan. Watched MTV all of the time and remember the VJ's so this was great. I went out and bought Neon Ballroom as fast as I could after hearing Ana's song open fire in 1999. Which was huge because money was scarce and CDs were expensive. Got my friends all into Silverchair too.
Imagine your Daniel Johns......barely hanging on to reality fighting inner demons just trying to get through the day until the show at night and then comes in Jesse Camp just flapping all over the place
Jesse was way ahead of his time. He and Tom Green paved the way for comedians like Sacha Baron Cohen and never got the credit because people thought they were just being idiots.
Im absolutely convinced this was all an act and hes just perpetually in character. I mean the contrast with his background vs this persona is just ridiclous
I totally agree. I'm pretty sure I voted for him too. He was just a kid being thrown in all directions and being expected to be a professional interviewer with very little prep. He's not going to know everything about everyone, so just doing his best with the information he's given and doing it his way.
@@JarodFrank a dusty box of VHS gold recorded by someone in the universe with impeccable taste! Thanks for restoring life into this stuff it’s awesome for an old school silverchair fan who was the same age as they were when they were releasing their music to the world👍🏻
everyone is blaming jesse, but i blame the band for their one-word answers. you go on a talk show, have some stories to tell!! when asked an open question like 'how was makign this record', all you have to say is 'it was cool'??
You say that as if they go on these shows for fun and not because their management makes them. I'm sure you'd be equally sick of being asked the same questions over and over again. Not to mention, they're already tired from touring.
Daniel looks highly annoyed lol
He always looks like that
Don’t blame him that bloke interviewing them sounded on something 😂

thank goodness for Jesse . daniel’s sooo introverted in this interview. jesse trying to keep the vibes good and not awkward 😂
Im absolutely convinced this was all an act and hes just perpetually in character. I mean the contrast with his background vs this persona is just ridiclous
Oh definitely! He was doing like a Yankee version of Ali G haha.
Or so far in character he fell victim to his own creation, the token loveable annoying stoner bit
Wow! This was cringey! But in the best way possible way. Jesse tried too hard. I remember voting for him on wanna be a vj or whatever it was called

I think it would be hard to give a serious answer when asked by someone with the intelligence of the Cookie Monster.
if jojo siwa were around in the 90s
Jesse Camp 👀 I think he got hit in the head with a Boulder! Silverchair guys; this interview was cringe worthy!😬
The chair trying not to laugh at this cringe
