  • use pine resin to make pine tar or pine pitch with a few ingredients. Pine sap, charcoal, cattails or deer scat and sticks. melt and filter the sap over a fire and grind down the charcoal nice and fine. when the pine sap is a hot liquid filter it and add 60% pine sap, 20% charcoal, 20% cattails and mix it up and apply to a stick. you can use pine pitch like hot glue of the woods.

What happens if you pour warm liquid pitch into cold water? Does it just solidify and sink?
