I found an old plastic flash drive in the drawer and decided to tear it apart!
Look at what came from within!
I decided why not put it to a laser test 😅

Is decapsulating resin blobbed silicon chips (Those black blobs) on circuit boards possible with the laser? What do the internals of SNES emulation chips look like?

It's a flip chip so the metal layers are on the top which are quite resilent.

Fiber laser or marking laser
There is a project of making a radiator by using 3 aluminum pieces square. The middle cut glove with laser and making like a sandwich glue or soldered with many of this .
This laser is not so powerful. Does not cut metal 😢
It doesn't need to cut the metal .
You can oxide,the surface you need have basic chemistry do and carefully.
