This album proved everyone that BTS doesn't have a vocal hole. A lot of people thought Jin is talentless, Jimin can only scream high notes and V can only growl. This shows they are really good vocalists.It's just that they don't use as much vocals in their title songs like Dope and Fire so singers like Jin and V don't get to shine. So haters, now you don't have a reason to hate on BTS anymore because now you know they are talented in every area ^-^

This album is literally the best they made. I dunno man this album is just so different. They are just so pure and being so open to us. Showing all of them. This album started a new chapter in bts. And everytime i listen i just notice again and how amazing and deep this album is.
Don’t get me wrong, Love Yourself is a great concept and trilogy by BTS, but in my opinion WINGS has been their most phenomenal album. The songs have so much ‘feel’ and ‘energy’ in them. Best album of theirs in my opinion 💕

In the beginning, when the BOYS MEET EVIL. They had to work so much, putting their BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS in their music, now in the present day, they BEGIN with their beautiful album. It was a LIE when BTS said they worked hard on their album, they put their whole life in it. I believe haters should let go of the STIGMA that Bts is not a deserving group. Many K-Pop fans FIRST LOVE of boy groups were starting with BTS. In the solo songs, we saw a REFLECTION of who they are, or how talented they are. I bet their MAMA is so proud them for making an album as good as this. I feel AWAKE hearing the beauty of this album, I am LOST on how just a 54 minute album can have such an impact on not only mine, but many army's emotions. CYPHER PART 4 was amazing as well, AM I WRONG for anticipating V to be in it as well 😂😂. Maybe, but in this fandom, the 21ST CENTURY GIRLS all love V anyways. Exactly! imo Bts honestly doesn't necessarily have one specific sound. The good thing about bts is that they're always switching things up and trying new sounds. They're not afraid to experiment and if anything THAT'S the bangtan style. Like you said their lyrics are what defines them most of all. One thing I really like with this album, is that there's almost no love song, which is really rare in KPop albums. Almost all their songs are about their personal life, their passion, emotion, ambition, struggle, doubt, pain, growing up, temptation, brotherhood, mother, Korean society. Even their fan song is different. It's not about living happily ever after together but the reality of the world. Bad things happen, but we move on together and hope for better days. Their songs are always so meaningful. Talented group.

looking back, i think wings was the best album by bts. Period. I love all their ly series, and there's great tracks, but idk. I hate people saying bts became westernized, because that's not it. But bts has definately changed their sound, perhaps a change in the production team, who knows, but I just loved the sound of their wings era more. It's a reference from the book they based the whole album (I mean the music videos). You'll see why if you do some research on the book. It called Demian. It all makes sense when you look through. The Eva thing. The Jungkook and Yoongi thing (and the birds), V being evil, When Namjoon says quotes from the book/the intros. V is portraying a certain character in the book. I like that its not just random songs and they put as an album. I like that there's intro and outro, that there is somehow a connection between everything. Its like a story from beginning to end they are very smart. This is a masterpiece not just an album 🙏🏻
actually, they all just came up with lyrics/poems that meant the most to them, they came up with the songs they did as a group, as a group. The lyrics and music in general tell the story of their lives before or during their time with BTS, me having been an ARMY since 2013 this whole album was emotional. They put everything they had into this album. thanks to a lot of American fans tho they became huge. my words will never amount to what they have helped me get through. there were those times where I just wanted to end everything, then I would listen to let me know, and that would help me. their music is not just for enjoyment, for some of us it is cathartic, and it is pure- I cant think of a word to describe how they make me feel- bliss- found one

I will always love this album to death, it’s their absolute BEST album, their magnum opus, the absolute best music they could possibly create. The feeling these songs give me are really unlike anything else. The albums that come close to this one are Skool Luv Affair, Dark&Wild, and all HYYH albums. Shoutout to BTS for reinvigorating my life with your music. I will literally always love them.

i think the wings album was the last album that was created with the pure essence of BTS's desprate days. EVERY single song leading up to the wings album was phenomenal, overflowing with creativity and evidence of hard work. Dont get me wrong, they still work hard. i love the LY series, but after wings dropped, BTS took off, and their tastes have changed. The wings album was the last of old school bts. Now, instead they are trying to appeal to a wider audience with their title tracks and they're experimenting with different genres (as they've always done). BTS has grown and so has their music. 2013- 2016 era BTS has a special place in my heart

First Love is so on point, like legit it's almost as if I can see yoongi putting all his emotions into the song. Every word, every breath is packed with feelings. He shares the same emotions as us, our pain, our sorrow, our happiness. This is something I really admire of yoongi, he expresses his feelings through his voice so well. Thank you for letting me exposed to such incredible group, BTS. Thank you for doing everything you can for ARMYS.
Do you ever have that feeling where you are genuinely happy, but it has come to an end? That feeling in the pit of your stomach. That feeling you get when you don't want to let go? That's the feeling I get with the interlude. Bts just makes me so happy, and music in general just makes me feel like I can do anything. But that song. for people who says this is not their style---- artist should always compose lyrics or songs with an open mind, they willing to read/see/feel all aspects thus create more versatile music. and bangtan was one of them. i remembered one video was shooting what the members hv in their room, surprisingly namjoon aka rap mon has many diff books in his room, thats what inspirations are, u read, u inspired and u improved. they travel to Norway, those cultures are inspiration. i rather believed they created good music, becus after all kpop needs to b more versatile in order to grow into international market.

For everyone who's saying this is not bts style, I think we are all aware that kpop groups try different styles when making a comeback right? It's the same style, though, BTS has had the same style consistently. It's their concept that is different. That's what makes bangtan different from other groups, they don't change they grow as people but there's still something in the core of their music that is distinctly bangtan and has been since 2013.06.12
Jin's solo 'Awake' in this album is outstanding. Although Jimin's solo 'Lie' is good in its own way, 'Awake' beats every single song in 'Wings'. His voice is so angelic and honey-coated, like it could lull you to sleep. The lyrics are also meaningful, and it shows some symbolism with a touch of beauty. His voice stands out and the song in general is absolutely extraordinary. Okay, enough about the song. Let's move on to Jin, specifically. He's very underrated even though he was selected as having beautiful visuals (in MelOn Music Awards). His voice. Oh my gosh his VOICE. It has the perfect amount of sweetness which makes me squeal every time I hear him sing. It's such a shame he has so little parts in the songs, even if he is the oldest out of all the members, and has such a lovable voice... And he's being teased too much about his lack of talent in dancing and how he can't do anything :( It breaks my heart to see him have to go through those comments. I may just have a tendency to love the underrated fellas, but all of them have such beautiful appearances and voices. Plus, Jin is too adorable I don't deserve it. His aegyo- oh kill me please. His nickname, Pink Princess, and how he eats OH GOD help me lord. His lips are perfect. And wow his shoulders are bIG (it's a compliemt ;). I just love his personality and everything about him. If you despise him just because you think he doesn't have potential or any skills, just leave Kpop. Please. I'm trying not to be rude, but you're insulting my baby and you call yourself loyal? If you hate on someone just because they don't have enough lines in some music, then you're living one hell of a life. Everyone is beautiful, no matter who they are.

Don’t get me wrong, Love Yourself is a great concept and trilogy by BTS, but in my opinion WINGS has been their most phenomenal album. The songs have so much ‘feel’ and ‘energy’ in them. Best album of theirs in my opinion 💕

In the beginning, when the BOYS MEET EVIL. They had to work so much, putting their BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS in their music, now in the present day, they BEGIN with their beautiful album. It was a LIE when BTS said they worked hard on their album, they put their whole life in it. I believe haters should let go of the STIGMA that Bts is not a deserving group. Many K-Pop fans FIRST LOVE of boy groups were starting with BTS. In the solo songs, we saw a REFLECTION of who they are, or how talented they are. I bet their MAMA is so proud them for making an album as good as this. I feel AWAKE hearing the beauty of this album, I am LOST on how just a 54 minute album can have such an impact on not only mine, but many army's emotions.
CYPHER PART 4 was amazing as well, AM I WRONG for anticipating V to be in it as well 😂😂. Maybe, but in this fandom, the 21ST CENTURY GIRLS all love V anyways. This album really shows different angles of BTS, and since a lot of them are sad, THERE WILL BE BETTER DAYS for them, and they can let go of all of the stress and worry they have, and finally be able to use their WINGS to fly...

Exactly! imo Bts honestly doesn't necessarily have one specific sound. The good thing about bts is that they're always switching things up and trying new sounds. They're not afraid to experiment and if anything THAT'S the bangtan style. Like you said their lyrics are what defines them most of all. They never fails to put out songs with amazing thoughtful lyrics.

One thing I really like with this album, is that there's almost no love song, which is really rare in KPop albums.
Almost all their songs are about their personal life, their passion, emotion, ambition, struggle, doubt, pain, growing up, temptation, brotherhood, mother, Korean society.
Even their fan song is different. It's not about living happily ever after together but the reality of the world. Bad things happen, but we move on together and hope for better days. Their songs are always so meaningful. Talented group.

looking back, i think wings was the best album by bts. Period. I love all their ly series, and there's great tracks, but idk. I hate people saying bts became westernized, because that's not it. But bts has definately changed their sound, perhaps a change in the production team, who knows, but I just loved the sound of their wings era more. I can still hear their original sound in their new music, but it's just not the same.

I like that its not just random songs and they put as an album. I like that there's intro and outro, that there is somehow a connection between everything. Its like a story from beginning to end they are very smart. This is a masterpiece not just an album 🙏🏻
actually, they all just came up with lyrics/poems that meant the most to them, they came up with the songs they did as a group, as a group. The lyrics and music in general tell the story of their lives before or during their time with BTS, me having been an ARMY since 2013 this whole album was emotional. They put everything they had into this album. thanks to a lot of American fans tho they became huge. my words will never amount to what they have helped me get through. there were those times where I just wanted to end everything, then I would listen to let me know, and that would help me. their music is not just for enjoyment, for some of us it is cathartic, and it is pure- I cant think of a word to describe how they make me feel- bliss- found one
Wish they could now publish a whole book of the entire stories they come up with in their MVs and movies..
I think through the leadership of RM who has become such a story teller based on being a wide reader, the concept is about taking us on a journey of their lives which can at times be a reflection of our lives too.

I will always love this album to death, it’s their absolute BEST album, their magnum opus, the absolute best music they could possibly create. The feeling these songs give me are really unlike anything else. The albums that come close to this one are Skool Luv Affair, Dark&Wild, and all HYYH albums. i think the wings album was the last album that was created with the pure essence of BTS's desprate days. EVERY single song leading up to the wings album was phenomenal, overflowing with creativity and evidence of hard work. Dont get me wrong, they still work hard. i love the LY series, but after wings dropped, BTS took off, and their tastes have changed. The wings album was the last of old school bts. Now, instead they are trying to appeal to a wider audience with their title tracks and they're experimenting with different genres (as they've always done). BTS has grown and so has their music.

Wings Era is the best era! It has been 6 years, the Yet To Come concert has been held, and i'm still coming back to this.

That settles it.... My favorite song in this album is no doubt, Jin's song.. Awake, and BTS Blood, Sweat & Tears... then V's Stigma.. Jimin's Lie... Suga's First Love.. and then the rest are all really good too.. but really.. Jin's song is sooooo beautiful and emotional to listen to..

First Love is so on point, like legit it's almost as if I can see yoongi putting all his emotions into the song. Every word, every breath is packed with feelings. He shares the same emotions as us, our pain, our sorrow, our happiness. This is something I really admire of yoongi, he expresses his feelings through his voice so well. Thank you for letting me exposed to such incredible group, BTS. Thank you for doing everything you can for ARMYS.
Do you ever have that feeling where you are genuinely happy, but it has come to an end? That feeling in the pit of your stomach. That feeling you get when you don't want to let go? That's the feeling I get with the interlude. Bts just makes me so happy, and music in general just makes me feel like I can do anything. But that song. It makes me want to cry, as do all the interludes to their albums.
Jin needs to realize that he is loved just as much as the other members. Hes a sweet, talented handsome man and he is special and unique. So i beg of you army, eveyone that sees this comment, Comment "We love you Jin" on every bts video you watch. show your support for this perfect person.

for people who says this is not their style---- artist should always compose lyrics or songs with an open mind, they willing to read/see/feel all aspects thus create more versatile music. and bangtan was one of them.
i remembered one video was shooting what the members hv in their room, surprisingly namjoon aka rap mon has many diff books in his room, thats what inspirations are, u read, u inspired and u improved. they travel to Norway, those cultures are inspiration.
i rather believed they created good music, becus after all kpop needs to b more versatile in order to grow into international market.

No offence to their other ablums, there great and all, butwhen I listen to this album it just always SCREAMS bts to me like this is their true colours. Seriously this is their best album hands down and will remain on her throne like she deserves.
For everyone who's saying this is not bts style, I think we are all aware that kpop groups try different styles when making a comeback right? Maybe you're not just used to it i understand that this is so much different from HYYH era but this change don't make them less talented and don't make them "less-bangtan", this makes them showcase their talent more and more, personally i like this album very much and made me love them more, no matter what haters say now you can't change the fact that bts is now really popular and they definitely deserve this fame.

That's what makes bangtan different from other groups, they don't change they grow as people but there's still something in the core of their music that is distinctly bangtan and has been since 2013.06.12

Jin's solo 'Awake' in this album is outstanding. Although Jimin's solo 'Lie' is good in its own way, 'Awake' beats every single song in 'Wings'. His voice is so angelic and honey-coated, like it could lull you to sleep. The lyrics are also meaningful, and it shows some symbolism with a touch of beauty. His voice stands out and the song in general is absolutely extraordinary. Okay, enough about the song. Let's move on to Jin, specifically. He's very underrated even though he was selected as having beautiful visuals (in MelOn Music Awards). His voice. Oh my gosh his VOICE. It has the perfect amount of sweetness which makes me squeal every time I hear him sing. It's such a shame he has so little parts in the songs, even if he is the oldest out of all the members, and has such a lovable voice... And he's being teased too much about his lack of talent in dancing and how he can't do anything :( It breaks my heart to see him have to go through those comments. I may just have a tendency to love the underrated fellas, but all of them have such beautiful appearances and voices. Plus, Jin is too adorable I don't deserve it. His aegyo- oh kill me please. His nickname, Pink Princess, and how he eats OH GOD help me lord. His lips are perfect. And wow his shoulders are bIG (it's a compliemt ;). I just love his personality and everything about him. If you despise him just because you think he doesn't have potential or any skills, just leave Kpop. Please. I'm trying not to be rude, but you're insulting my baby and you call yourself loyal? If you hate on someone just because they don't have enough lines in some music, then you're living one hell of a life. Everyone is beautiful, no matter who they are.
