Thank you bro glad you enjoyed the battle! Some mistakes here and there but in general I have to say it went ok..😂 stay tuned for next year’s campaign.. Happy New Year and thank you for watching!
Immense video, really enjoyed the narrative and breakdown of rules. Im deffo going to have to take a look into these rules..i hope you continue to enjoy your break. Regards Rosco
Thank you dear Rocco glad you liked it! Yes it takes time to add all these cards and graphics. Yes good set and of rules very enjoyable and a lot of future releases as far as I know. Have great Christmas my friend and a Happy Nee year!
I have to agree I like them too and Barons War Period works perfectly with the rules..I am currently creating army lists for the era let me know if you need any support.
@@MedievalWargamerthanks! Also, units that are reduced to half their stamina only get half their combat dice. 👍. If you see any of my games you’ll notice I miss some rules also 😆
😂😂😂😂 you know very well having a great channel how difficult it is to shoot a battle report..having to do many things simultaneously for the audience..explain the rules the same time find the correct angle for the shot moving the armies calculating the results showing the dice remembering the current situation..😂😂😂 after a battle like that I am usually drenched in sweat..😅
@ agreed. Particularly when you’re playing solo and you have no one to remind you of a rule or if you miss something. I find having a stand for my camera helps a lot as it at least frees up a hand 😁
Great video and battle report Nick ! Your massed armies and large units look the business😊 Excellent fight really enjoyed it Thank You for all the great content of this last year Looking forward to next year my friend !
Thank you dear Ray glad you enjoyed the battle report!I have to thank you for supporting the channel so much this past year and all your great comments and suggestions! Hopefully you will enjoy next year’s content as well! Merry Christmas my friend to you and your loved ones!
Gorgeous minis - as ever, your games look great and really help to sell the period! Minor rules note - each Unit has to complete its movement before moving the next one, including rolling any Command Tests for second moves. This means that you’re more likely to get fragmentation of a line of troops and often forces a player to use up more Mighty Deeds as they try to advance on the enemy. I don’t think this would have made a difference in this game as your Scots were pretty well behaved regarding their Command Tests! Thanks for playing and sharing with us. Merry Christmas!
Thank you dear James glad you enjoyed the battle my friend! Ok yes good point thank you! Even better makes the game even more unpredictable! Thank you for watching and commenting my friend! Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!
Merry Christmas. I have awoken early to open my Trials of Tempus skirmish wargame. Father Christmas must have sneaked in whilst we were drinking cocktails with the neighbours. If those reindeer have pooped on my roof again I will be furious. With festive wishes.
Hope you had a good christmas Nic. Slightly confused by these rules I thought they were meant to be Arthurian period rules or are they just another generic cavemen to Wars of the roses set?It would be interesting to know what they offer that is much better than the other rule sets out there?
Hey John Merry Christmas my friend!!The rules remind me of HC..based on ancient warfare but generic enough to use for many medieval periods with the addition of traits and special rules .. same as HC.. unfortunately I am not the best person to ask considering the rules have exactly the mechanics I love pushbacks and supports.. 😂😂 thank you for watching my friend!
Check out the video James posted the links in our chat you will get more information! As I said I love the rules and I am always enjoying playing battles using MIDGARD.
Thank you dear Colin glad you enjoyed the battle report ! Yes still need to play a few games so the rules will come easier to me especially when I am playing solo and shooting for the channel and have to do many things at the same time like check the best camera angles explaining the current status of the battle explaining the strategy dice rolling etc. Thank you! I always found that visual support like tables and graphics help the viewer and make the battle more fun to watch! Thank you for watching and commenting my friend!
Keep these coming! I'm absolutely loving them! Plus, I am learning a ton prior to my first game. Thanks Brother 👍
