Hammer Masterclass - Tore Gustafsson - European Throws Conference 2017

This video is from the Hammer masterclass given by Tore Gustafsson (Sweden) at the European Throws Conference held in Loughborough, England on 11-12 November 2017.
Tore is a great communicator and gives a superb insight into aspects of the hammer technique. His demonstrations of the movements leave you with a super feeling of the movements required for successful hammer throwing - and we should bear in mind that Tore is Left-handed doing all the demonstrations as a right-handed thrower.
Towards the latter part of the video there are some excellent Special Strength exercises demonstrated by Sophie Hitchon (GB) and Taylor Campbell (GB)

One of the best discussions of hammer implement and body positioning I've ever heard. I've o ly thrown twice but it is, by far, my most favorite event! As the implement moves farther from the body (shot-closest, hammer-farthest), correct technique to optimize flight of the implement increases in difficulty. He explains it all--load, feel, orbit, catch, rhythm, etc...
