Very nice video. Electra looks great; I could see she enjoyed her time being out of her cage and dancing away. Glad she is friends with Malibu, and it was so nice to hear him sing Happy Birthday towards the end.
💗🐦💗Aww, Happy Birthday Electra! My female Senegal, Squishy, is turning 16 in six months. Your Senegal actually has the markings of a male Senegal which has primarily yellow feathers below the vent of the tale and a higher v-neck of the yellow-orange chest color as opposed to a very low green v-neck for the females and primarily green feathers with a bit of yellow below the vent in the tail. You can observe Squishy and see the typical markings of the female Senegal. The males are more colorful, exactly like Electra. I'm not saying Electra is a male, I'm just saying, she visually appears to be. Have you had her sex confirmed? Electra is my Favorite and I just love how you prepare her food. Thank you for the wonderful video. My birds enjoyed it too!
Hi, I have had her dnad as a female. I have noticed that males have bigger heads then females. Electra's seems smaller. I want to do another DNA test now, lol
@@Loveofpets I just curious because she is so vibrant and beautiful. I am head over heels in love with Senegals and love all of your videos and birds. Blessings to you. 🕊🤗🕊
@@Loveofpets ... and yes the male's head is more dramatic and a bit more intense. Electra has all the best features of both. She's a real beauty even though she doesn't like you much LOL
Hi, I did have Parrotlets for a short while, however they did not work out with my flock and situation. The parrolets where very nasty and territorial and would attack other birds. One kept flying to my Senegals cage to attack her and she tried to bite the Parrolets feet. It wasn't a safe situation to kept Parrolets. I couldn't keep them in the bird room or my living room. I had no other areas to keep them in. They are adorable little bold birds. I believe they are best by themselves and not mixed with other species.
I urge you to define what "depressed" looks like. Behavior assessment is very subjective and trying to understand it objectively starts with defining/describing WHAT YOU SEE rather than broadly labeling.

Hello. I was wondering why you don't have any parrotlets. I have one myself and really enjoy him.

What kind of bird is the other bird ?
Electra looks depressed
Why do you say that? She is a happy girl.
@@Loveofpets because she looks depressed. What make you thinking she is happy?
How does she look depressed? What makes you think she is depressed?
