Yeah, I would make some kind of system with a hose if you have it on an one spot. The best is to find some drain to link it into. Or stand it on a chair/shelf and lead the hose out of the corner of a window. (I placed my dehumilifier on a chair and used 5litre water canister. But then the problem is that I forgot to empty it in time and it over-flowed. But it was handy.)
