The fact he enjoyed Carl Jung is fascinating and important. I love Jung's views because he seemed hopeful in humanity and empathetic. It seems Charles liked him for those reasons too. Scary genius how he took advantage of those teachings; he probably learned about the emotion of empathy through a textbook rather than ever feeling it.
As I understand, psychopaths are completely incapable of feeling empathy.

it’s not really scary genius.. now is it? Therapists and psychiatrists do just that, they learn about the mind, but the main difference is, he used what he learned to do what he did.. and the others do it to help. he didn’t care about his views. He cared about the literal psychology that would help him better lure people in and control them.

@@1dogissky You have this silly idea that there are criminals that can outsmart the authorities their entire life which is unrealistic, a criminals career will always end in either quiting in time jail or death. Thats why I said you watch to many movies and have an unrealistic perspective of how things go.
Miz k you can’t differentiate between “criminal” and “criminals”. So read my comment again. Besides, there are many criminals that have never been caught anyway, a quick google search or watching the news for once can show you that. You actually think every single criminal has been caught? Don’t make me laugh. Plus I’m currently doing my LLB in law and we will soon do our module in criminal law which I have been revising for. I’m also doing an internship at a solicitors office that deals with immigration and criminal matters. Trust me I‘ve read tons of reports. Man, somewhere along the line one of the guards should've said "Maybe we shouldn't eat this suspicious dinner from this man we convicted of poisoning 100 people with food"
A man like this would have gotten others to remove anyone suspicious of him early on in his prison tenure. The only way to deal with men like this is a bullet to the back of the head.

"I never killed good ppl" and you knew them well enough to know that? cmonBRUH
There are multiple possible reasons for him saying that. Maybe it was a lie, in an attempt to better his public image.
It's typical for antisocial people to make excuses for their actions and shift the blame to others. Even if it's not actually effective, it's an instinctive reaction.
It's quite noticeable in interviews with notorious serial killers with psychopathic backgrounds, like Ted Bundy, who once blamed pornography for making him into the man that ended up killing more than 30 people for fun.
I'm not saying that to him there was no reason for it, I'm just pointing out the flawed logic of the statement
or he just got to know them before he killed them
0MindSwept0 what flawed logic? :l
dude he always learned about his victims before being able to trick them
Shown no love as a child. No wonder he lacked empathy.
