Seems like AA wants to "remain" positive with MSF kicking him out. He should know that if you are good at your job you can adapt to changes, so something there is amiss. When he says he is not a liar and he never lied about the information...ya, that makes sense, he got the information that he thought he had to present to the community, that's not being a liar but just a messenger, so not fault of his own on that. I can see him being another CC since he looooves this game so much, which I can tell you as an endgame player, this game gets dull real fast, where he will show us the same content that everyone is doing---war--crucible--raids, etc. I hope he brings something new as a CC otherwise its just like another CM presenting the same information we would've discovered eventually on our own.
I forgot to mention that when AA said he hates spoilers with datamines....REALLY? over 90% of the datamines were on point and gave the players an indication what next to prepare for. What do you think ENVOYS do when they hint whats to come next? That example of his feelings of Monster Hunter being revealed before the convention was laughable as a spoiler.

We all understand that companies have profit margins and whatnot, the issues start when those "goals" become unreasonable and when they become unreasonable to the point where it affects player's enjoyment of a game. It's really hard not to look at their financial goals, we see them every time we play this game, and not think well this is predatory.

They start with good intentions to represent all players, not just the spenders...but developers almost always treat their CMs good. They get extra perks, paid travel to events, opportunities to "voice" concerns with higher ups, etc. but it's all just to get CMs to wholely buy-in. Add in some harsh online treatment from the community, and the CMs perspective changes to pro developer.
This guy literally said while being fired, but im a scopely minion. Probably had tears in his eyes at the time.

Oh hoarding isn’t a thing anymore? And hates data mines that help with them because… he likes being surprised by them? I mean a top 10 war alliance I’m sure he’s not a “light spender” but this was the most nothing interview ever. What’s his retail experience running a GameStop, sounds like one of their managers who loved drinking their kool aid

They have done a good job with the cms. I hated listening to Cerebro. He was slimy and I felt like he was a terrible used care salesman. He rarely if ever answered a question.
Archangel in my opinion was a huge upgrade. He’s a fanboy and a car salesman doing what was his job. He seemed innocent I guess is what I mean.
I hope pathfinder is also a huge upgrade from Archangel.
His answers seemed softballed. I get it he is hoping to get another similar job in the industry and you can’t just burn companies. They will not higher you and he obviously understands that.

I read body language for a living, and I make a damn good living, and no matter how much he says he hates being called a liar he was straight up pulling wool on a couple of the questions asked based off his mannerisms.
Like most said, he isn't going to say crap that'll shoot himself in the foot but it has that same feeling to it where you have the pathetic ex-bf that'll do things for/with his ex for the SLIGHT chance they may get back together.
In all retrospect that's a beta bitch move but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do to make sure you survive

So datamining is seen as a spoiler to some? Cause the way I see it, datamines aren't a spoiler but a warning to avoid being blindsided by scopely throwing out an event that required non krakens to hoard so they at least have a minimal chance at getting through most of these events 🤷‍♂️

In every game you dont get a return on your investement,is just stupid to hope for that you basically spend money to get to be in the top ,so to come out and say hey i wanna quit cause i dont see a return of my investement is ludicrous ,its not like hey i spend money on a house and i need a return of my investement

    • @WutTheDeuceGaming
      @WutTheDeuceGaming 2 месяца назад

what you just said makes no sense. When you buy a house, you want a return on investment, but not directly to your wallet. You get a return on investment on a house by having the worth of that house INCREASE which is done by doing repairs and modernizing it AKA spending money on it. That's the return on investment there and not everything has a direct impact to your wallet to be considered a return on investment. You never want to look at a house you purchased and see that the house's value has gone down when you have invested money into it.
I dunno what your level of education is, but I imagine it's nothing special. You don't buy a house just to live in it, you buy a house also because it can be a solid investment both for your credit and for possible resale value, both extremely important returns on investment when you get older as it allows you to retire comfortably a lot of time which is yet another return on investment.
Return on investment isn't always monetary, but also peace of mind, both things this game fails to deliver on because it is focused on monetary things to be able to participate in other areas. If you don't have a return on investment in a game like this, then people are going to walk away because that is where the game has been going. You put in a lot of time and some times money, only to not get to where you need to be to participate, that's a problem and shows that the current way they are doing things isn't good.
Investment also isn't always monetary, TIME is more valuable than any dollar amount.

Lots of folks here being harsh but i enjoyed this interview. Dude came from retail; i came from restaurants. Once you get an office job, you never want to go back to that life. Glad he got his surgery before his insurance is gone. (If you don't know, in the US our health insurance is tied to our job if you're lucky enough to get a job that offers that. So when you lose your job, the COBRA Act requires the company to keep offering insurance on their plan but it's like $700 a month.)

Word is in his alliance it stills takes him weeks to respond to them too n its always the same scripted message!!! He lost his job because player base knew he was full of crap before scopely started going down the toilet. Then when they had him doing PR it didnt work because his reputation was already trash so instead he just went ghost n didnt ever respond so the CC'S put out content n wasnt any need for the liar. Lied for scopely for months n they threw him away first chance. Hes almost been married three times but wedding doesnt get to finish because he never answers the final question.
