Ben when a soft runner has 2 seconds on you, instead of trying to hold on a little longer you could have let him have the overtake without ruining your pace and then used him as a way to leapfrog 3rd when he inevitably slows down the car he overtakes

watch it back in slow-mo and look at my steering wheel. I moved left initially, but once contact was made I'm turning away from alex to get out of it but alex doesn't lift so we both go in the wall.
@@Tiametmarduk Whether Gillon didn't lift off or not, you looked back and saw he was going up your inside and then moved to close him off. Gillon isn't perfect but you can't blame him for that

Have you noticed how much faster Alex is when his hosting couple of seconds faster than creator series
There’s literally no other examples of players gaining that much time when hosting versus joining the lobby. Alex has had some poor last few weeks in CS and the pressure is much higher, but Alex is just genuinely faster than the rest of this group when they don’t get to practice a track all week
He got pole in creator series this week so you point of very invalid. he just gets shafted in the races
is there any way to get a copy of the spreadsheet they use to measure all the career mode progress, standings etc? Would love to set this up myself

Ben, I have a genuine question. Say at 2:44 you cut, are we missing you setting up the car and whatnot? As a player I'd be interested in seeing your thought process on the car set up and stuff. Maybe a secondary channel thing because it doesn't make for a concise nice video for the majority of watchers? But I'd be interested in seeing full thoughts on all of it. Or! This all might happen on stream and be in vods that I could just find and I'm a dummy? Love the content keep it up mate

Man every season of 2 or 4 player career mode, you find the silliest and most unnecessary ways to bottle it. Just race normally ffs. How many seasons is Alex going to beat you? I can’t remember the last time you won.

The smarter thing to do would be to let him by and slipstream him the next lap. He was bound to get caught up in the a.i shenanigans going for the win cause hes alex gillon and then capitalise
End of the day that was a total cheese move at the end and despite the physics it was still a block even before the contact was made. Not the end of the world but definitely a disappointing end to an overall pretty good race. At least Gillon kept his P3 (I don’t think he would’ve caught sainz anyways) and Ben really was the only one super affected by his own move
Obviously Ben's fault BUT I agree with ben that the physics makes it worse than the original intention of the move. The move was silly but prooobably not nefarious. Nevertheless, Ben should still chill out when Alex gets near him

Ben clearly moves across Alex when Alex was well alongside and entitled to space. Yes physics played their part, but the move was illegal regardless

Alex on his high and mighty pedestal after his latest run of taking people out.. Suzuka springs to mind Alex.
How can you look at that incident and determine Alex was at fault? They both had damage after the crash, Ben only DNF’d because the AI car hit him into the wall again. Cope harder

If ElRey hadn’t caused the safety Alex wouldn’t have been behind Ben. It feels like he punts AI out the way but can’t in CS.
Ben caused the final incident and he said it was his fault at the time so not sure where there's a debate there.
However Alex was quick to criticise Ben and 'Ben ruined a good race' Alex knows he was gonna fly past Ben anyway as he had 2+ seconds a lap quicker tyres.
Alex forgets though that recently he's been driving awful and ruining other people's races..
