Great interview. Maxine should've been a massive A list star. Such a pity she didn't get the chance to record more albums during her long career. She has a truly distinctive voice. So glad that this interview is now preserved for all future generations to hear. Too many of the artists of the golden era fell between the track nd and have since passed on before their memories could be preserved.
