Micks best live vocals on this. He goes from soft to loud, a whisper to a scream. Tenderness then menace, high into the rafters then deep into his boots. Such an emotional and expressive performance.

I've heard this song tons of times growing up in the 80s. Yet only a few years back it really started having more meaning as it was used in a Miami Vice episode, in a rather powerful scene. Since then it stuck with me... just love it.

To me this one stands out almost strangely in their rich body of songs; it has such a beautiful and immersive solemnity to it. While not among their upbeat songs, neither would I count it among their ballads; it is just something else, vocally perfected by great dynamic range and colouring.
