Dr. Homa Katouzian is is Iran Heritage Research Fellow, St. Antony's College, and Member, Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Oxford. A social scientist, historian, literary critic and poet, he is the author of numerous publications in English and Farsi including The Persians: Ancient, Mediaeval and Modern Iran (Yale University Press, 2009), Iran in the 21st Century (Routledge, 2008), and State and Society in Iran (I.B. Tauris, 2006).
