- May 30, 1997. Part 3. Mac arrests Dorman and tells Monica and Jason that he didn't see any of this. He's going to lie and say he picked up Dorman for disturbing the peace. He tells Jason to put the copy of Emily's diary back in Dorman's apartment so the cops can find it. Monica and Jason talk about Jason's way of life. Back at the Q mansion, Ned talks to Alexis about Emily and AJ. AJ and Emily spend some quality time together.

Jason DID care for his Q family. It's clear that he cared deeply for Monica here - regardless of what he told her. And later, it was even clearer that he loved Monica deeply. After Jason did not make it in time to say goodbye to Alan, he realized that Jason loved his father too.

I disagree. He knew no one in the beginning and had little feelings for anyone except maybe Robin. He appreciated Sonny giving him a job. But Jason had great feelings for his Q family. First they were angry and mixed then later he felt that he could not "give them what they wanted." He could not be Jason QUARTERMAINE for them. It made him angry at them that they wanted it and he couldn't be that. But later, he loved Monica deeply and even though he avoided Alan for the longest time - there were feelings that deepened at the end.
Monica, please no lecture now, Jason saved you.

In the beginning maybe, but as I wrote above Jason had GREAT feelings for the Qs. Monica, Emily and Lila of course, but even Ned and AJ (when Sean Kanan played him) and Alan (especially in the end). But he could not be Jason Quartermaine and that was difficult for everyone.
