So far, the best Auburn team I’ve ever seen. I’ve been watching since 99 and this is the most fun I’ve had watching Auburn basketball since 99 when Porter, N’Diaye, Fishback, Doc Robinson, Harrington, etc. So many good teams recently…the 2018 Final 4 team with Okeke, Harper, Brown, Dunbar, Doughty, Spencer, Wiley. And then the 2021 team with Jabari, Kessler, Wendell, KD, Zep, Cambridge and Cardwell. Even as good as those teams were, this team is even better, which is scary. They have almost every aspect of the game down to as close to perfection as you can get. Tough, swarming defense. Multiple 3 point shooters shooting over 40%, offensive rebounding, turnovers, ridiculous free throw percentage, 5+ blocks every game and most importantly, they play as a team and they have fun. They get hyped when their teammate makes a great play. They have fun with the crowd, and other than the one incident with Howard, you don’t see them yelling at each other or putting each other down. This is the best Auburn team ever and one of the best teams in recent basketball history.

Agree about the defense. It's a big part of the success. BUT the biggest reason (to me) this team is so good is experience and their mature roster. AU has 10 players... TEN... that are either seniors or 5th year/grads. Guys that have played in a lot of big games and tough environments. Players that know what it takes and are hungry for it. This is s special group and it will be fun to watch. WDE!

AU had to come back from ISU as well. Their only loss is to Duke in Cameron where on Duke gets to play defense. They only lost by 6 as well.

Never forget how dogshit the officiating at Duke was that game too. Auburn stomps Duke on a neutral court.

Auburn was also coming off of playing 3 straight days in a tournament and winning that tourney. The Duke game was a set up game. Coming off of a high, bench short because of the plane incident, played in Durham, and terrible officiating. On a Neutral site, Auburn wins 8 out of 10 times this year. In Durham, Auburn wins 6 out of 10. At Auburn, Auburn wins 10/10. Either way, not a chance Duke would beat Auburn in a best of 10 series this year. Hypothetically speaking.

@@LockedonWrestlingoh, 100%. The deciding factor in that game was free throws. Duke made 7 more free throws than Auburn, even though Auburn only had 12 free throws and Duke had 27. That just shows you right there how bad it was. Duke had 15 more free throws and still only won by 6. Auburn had 20 fouls to Dukes 14, but Auburn did turn the ball over 8 times to Dukes 4. Either way, terrible officiating and like you said, Neutral court, Auburn wins at least 7 to 9 out of 10
