These are pretty clever hacks, thank you very much. There was 1 more hack that I learned recently. My grandmother is unable to hold playing cards in her hands after her stroke. So, I ended up using a small part of the pool noodle to hold her playing cards so that she can play in the game, too. I cut the noodle in fourths, one per player. So with each fourth, I cut the piece in half lengthwise. Then, I made another slit on the top lengthwise but made sure to cut down deep enough for a slit, not all the way through. The bottom part of the fourth makes a flat base, while the slit on top holds the cards in place. Pretty neat, huh? :-)

A Tip for needing a smaller less bulkier "noodle": Hardware stores sell foam type covers for water pipes (various sizes) with a slit already cut into them. These would be great for the hanger tip, would fit better too
You could use the kiddy pool hack but instead of putting your kids in it put you snacks in it while you're in a big pool and have the kiddy pool floating around with all your snacks so you don't have to get out and get them on keep them on the edge of the pool where the dog or kids might eat them!
