I love that the envelope is addressed to Durham, NC as it's just a few minutes from me! The address is real and the house dates to 1920! :) Love your work!
I LOVE discovering you on RUclips, and knowing you work with Joggles, one of my old favorite mixed media supply sites. I am.looking forward to ordering these quality rice papers for use in my ephemera assembly for different mixed media projects. One question. Are today's art papers, known as "rice" papers, yesterday's mulberry paper? I've worked in a bit of everything for over 30 years, from making & teaching handmade paper from dryer lint & other recycled fibers, to handmade origami inspired books. My latest project interests are handmade books- scrapbook style. I will start my next project this summer, making scrap/journal books from Stamperia's different paper collections. (Klimt is my favorite, and I was delighted to find your Klimt inspired stencil collections at Joggles.) Looking forward to all that you do. Sincerely, Rebecca (becs with a little "b") Or my alter ego, Madame Theresa (Crazy Gypsy fortune teller at large...) LOL!
I loved the birds you put on some of the papers. I just had to buy a cutter for my books so I’ll get them after my pocket book fills back up. I think I want to do a series on them they are very nice. I didn’t comment on last weeks video, I know I liked it but my chemo brain has just brain farted on me so I’m going to gel print today so I’m going back to see what it was cause I know I wanted to try it. I’m not sure if you have done transitioning prints to make on the gel plate if not your so far ahead maybe you can do one for the future Tibet’s. Thanks for always sharing
OH gosh Anna, I hope you feel better I am so sorry about your chemo brain! you are the best, I always look forward to your comments. I love the neutral rice paper backgrounds as a support for colorful birds! Transitioning prints? I'm not sure what you mean. papers for collage you meaN? My pleasure!
Bought your new papers and more just now. I love your designs and look forward to using real rice paper. The rice "mulberry" papers are great but not always what I want. Ah, I didn't know that matte medium dulled down your decoupage! Explains that!
Matte medium dulls everthing down including paint, it's not optically clear. I protect my collages with satin varnish at the end, to tone back the shine just a bit with only one coat. thanks for the support!
@Elizabeth St. Hilaire yes, I like the satin as a finish too. I always learn so much from you I suppose because you are a real artist, not a crafter. Thanks so much.
@@cassfonnesbeck8057 yes! just a little less shine, so you do not get a reflection. Thank you kindly, I am a "real artist" I have a BFA from Syracuse and it's my full-time job. I appreciate that Cass. :)
Great papers- and if you cut the strips, it’s instant washi😊

What's the brush that you're using? It's not a #8 Catalyst?
It’s a bigger Catalyst brush because the paper is bigger. It’s a long handled flat
You said that these sheets are laser printed, so I wonder if they will work for image transfers at all?
Not sure, give it a try!!
Can a been used for items that are for sale
As a single original, yes, as a reproduction no.
