Bob it's few & far between someone can be a HERO these days; I took the time for about the 11th Time to Get a ROTARY DIVIDER SKETCH IN ARDUINO TO FUNCTION. I use to Program in the 1984-90's then I got injured in 2000. Public Safety was my 45 Year Love after serving CHRIST SINCE IT WAS 4. I've lost so much of my Machining Skills. I just wish to say that I got the Software to Function, now to integrate it to the Stepper Driver & the Nema 23 & attaching it to my Dividing Head for my Bridgeport Tiwan Knock off. & Finally might get my Project Repaired after 3 years ,back together. I surely will give you a Big Thumbs Up when I get the Mechanical Working. This getting Old is Only because THE GOOD LORD SUSTAINS US FOR SOME REASON. Please know this was a Day Among Days that Don't come my way so often. THANK YOU, THANK YOU. If I get it functioning I surely will shoot you a REWARD for being a Hero. Hopefully that will be 😇 this week. You CAN BE SOMEONE'S HERO IN THESE DAYS OF WICKEDNESS. Thx Jim🙏😂
hello is very good project congratulations you're a genius .. I'm testing a Rotary_Table_Control I'd like you to add something to the arduino programming
Hello b mac, A excellent project. I have only just noticed your thread on the HMEM site and I am in the process of trying to put the arduino rotary indexer together. I realise your thread is years old now but incase you are still around I have a question. When I put in the controller sketch it can't detect the keyboard so will not load the rest of the sketch. Was there a sketch that I should be loading just for the keyboard before loading the controller sketch. Any help appreciated.
Hello b mac, I'M working on your project Arduino rotary table and when I plug the Arduino ,keypad , LCD on the computer everything works great but when I unplug it and connect it to the stepper motor and power supply it doesn’t work, the Arduino doesn't light up but the stepper motor driver does, I'm using the "tb6500" stepper driver and a 17nema stepper motor, 12VDC Power supply do i have change the sketch or rewire it different from the tb6560 that you are using ?
Hi Daryl I missed that the link changed when HMEM was updated. Many of the members have contributed updates and improvements on the project. www.homemodelenginemachinist.com/threads/arduino-rotary-table-for-dummies.26744/
Hi Ronak Yes, I’m using a high torque NEMA 17 model 17HS24-0644S from StepperOnLine. www.omc-stepperonline.com/hybrid-stepper-motor/nema-17-bipolar-18deg-60ncm-85ozin-064a-10v-42x42x60mm-4-wires-17hs24-0644s.html The rotary table has a 30 to 1 gear reduction and I have used it for light milling small parts in aluminum, brass and mild steel with no problems.

now sorted
why do I get total steps 2880 on 360degrees when I set 200*16? should get 3200steps which is a full rotation but calculations dont add up? thx

Hi there can't find any electronics /software (Arduino Sketch) from the link provided????

Does NEMA 17 have enough torque to rotate chuck?
Hi Ronak
Yes, I’m using a high torque NEMA 17 model 17HS24-0644S from StepperOnLine.

How is the ratio set up?
