This Herati lullaby carries a message of hope to overcome difficulties. The city of Herat shook multiple times during the earthquake devastation. Afghanistan, in days when it needs the most help, is under the influence of war news and is more than ever the subject of global neglect.
Naria Nour sings this lullaby arranged by Mehdi Aminian with a prepared Setar.
The Roots Revival Series - Afghanistan, with the motto "Afghanistan, you are not forgotten!" will interpret four themes of Afghan music with Afghan and non-Afghan musicians in four seasons. The project is financed by Shift.Basis.Kultur Wien, and the concerts are held at the Odeon Theater in Vienna.
