You've got me to finally unlock the cryptic code of scales along the neck.. So grateful for this. After years teaching myself, I'll be able to improvise lead guitar now, even shredding technique. Thks again for helping me "whale" on my guitar 🤘
Love this. I've been combining these 5 pentatonic patterns/shapes with the 7 diatonic scales and its made a massive difference in my playing. I remember in the early 80s discovery this for the first time. I drew a fretboard and each pattern was a different color pen. Best thing you could teach anyone who wants to shred or innovate at will on demand. Good job! 👍
Wow...I never could have put this together.....this is one of the most important videos I have ever watched.....of course its like 1:30 am so now I must wait until morning to get this down !!
You know those 3D drawings ? You may look at it for days, years like I did,but once you get the right focus suddenly the magic happens . Music is mathematics too! Thanks for the real insight.
Great stuff, as usual. Claus, which is the right speed to pratice? The highest one you are still comfortable with, or you have always to push it a little over, even if you begin making mistakes?
What brand and model is that guitar stand that you use please? I can't sit for so long and would like to practice standing up without having the weight of the guitar on a strap.

Truly good teachers enter a lesson assuming people only know the basics. This is how everyone of every level can be included. When you put your lessons on your channel and put out your courses, feel free to jump right into pretentios pompousness, though. Your fan will love it and appreciate you for it. That kind of attitude is ALWAYS appreciated. LOL
I've been playing guitar for 3 years in the boxed shapes, now I can finally fly across the fretboard with your great inspirational lesson, thank you.

It's mesmerizing watching you work your way across the neck.

Thank you so much it all makes sense now. I've read music theory for months, and you visually slap it other together in mins.
Great concept, but why are you playing so fast in a demonstration situation?

Quickly becoming my favorite music coach!
... loving your lessons.Muito obrigado.
thanks for this
Mind blown!! Awesome stuff!
I've struggled with the pentatonic scale patterns more than the diatonic scales for some reason but this was an AHA! FOR ME THANK YOU SIR!
For me it's easier to memorize 5 shapes of Pentatonic by playing only 4 bottom strings. It took me less than one month. :-)
This is probably the greatest thing I never knew! Thank you so much!!
Listening to Claus I usually end up with valuable life hacks.

Great lesson my man. Keep up all your great work.
Where can I get a guitar stand like that? What's it called?
Best lessonn 👌
Thank you, you have been helping me
thank you my brother

Really interested in the new course. Is it re-hashed Fretboard Freedom (excellent btw), or new concepts?
I was wondering the same
I am now a pentatonic god!
Somehow I knew, but you made this insight explicit, thanks Claus👍
Hi claus, good content👍, any tips on how to sound abit jazzy and fusion using pantatonic?
Always inspire me Claus! Thank you! I'm uploading more frequently now and that helps me play more aswell. 🔥

Thanks for the reply. 😕

Wow, you didn't even get an answer. That's dissapointing.
I get it very cool concept
Havent seen you in a while
Hi there, new subscriber here, cheers
Thanks and welcome

Good lesson, but at cocaine speed. I need a nap!
Ooooooohhhhh yeeeaaahhh...
Wow
Yea, exactly. Been playing over 40 years and that's never occurred to me or been presented to me before!!
@@SONICBOOMERSOONER I haven’t been practicing for like months and months now ☹️ I’m 34 and been playing since I was a kid

Great information but you go way to fast.
Your teaching, slow down. If you just do a split screen, play both simultaneously
Love how I can knowingly skip half way through these vids to get to the actual lesson and not deal with the annoying pleb explanations beforehand.
Nice comment. Are you always this pompous or do you just reserve it for social media?
