Most Christians would think of their "calling" as God's grand plan for them to a successful, victorious life. But the fulfillment of this calling is actually the daily commitment of progressively knowing God and His love - ultimately leading to our God-given purpose. The calling (or the purpose) should overwhelm us in a sense that it is infinitely bigger than ourselves. Though we are the recipients of His inheritance, His calling is not intended primarily for us in the first place. It belongs to the body of Christ and it contributes to the accomplishment of God's overarching plan for His kingdom. I've truly learned a lot through this message. Thank you, Pastora Terry. Exactly what i needed...last April 9 2020, a pastor evangelist name david diga Hernandez prophesied over me that i will have great ministry in the future...this happened during live preaching on youtube...he mentioned my name and last name....im 45 years old..do you think it's possible for me to start ministry despite of my age???? Age is not an issue (especially to God) when it comes to starting a ministry that will glorify Him and advance the kingdom of God. If Abraham and Sarah received their promise (birth of Isaac) in their ripe old age, how much more do you think God will use you and confirm His promise to your life at 45? @@TerryChengMinistriesOfficial ministry is not really my focus...i just want to know deeply to Lord Jesus...i want it that His Presence is so real in my life...If God see potential in me and want to use me then i would be willing..i don't know what he sees in me..im a very doubtful person and not even a ministry...and also i backslided so many times but God is so patient with me..btw... I love terry cheng's personal testimony...her story is full of victory and miracle... I'm so blessed...ive been following her ministry since 2018..God bless.
@@domand2950 The way you speak exudes a great deal of humility. Let us remind you what Proverbs 3:34 says, "God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble." God uses us not because of our own merits or qualifications. He uses us on the basis of our surrender to Him - to be as vessels where His anointing and power will freely flow. He is the One who provides us with the grace to enable us to do His will, not by our own might nor by our own power but by the Spirit of God who lives in us.
