  • Abby Lee Miller FUMES: Dance Moms Girls SCARED to Face Her?
Abby Lee Miller, former Dance Moms coach, believes she was not invited to the recent reunion of Lifetime's Dance Moms: The Reunion special because the "kids can't face" her. Miller shared her candid thoughts on the Just B with Bethenny Frankel podcast, stating that the kids could not be where they are today without the show. She mentioned two young girls named Brooke and Paige Hyland, who were close emotionally and family wise to her.
Miller questioned why the kids kept coming back to her studio at various ages due to the toxic environment. She also revealed that Lifetime wanted her to be a down-and-out, heavy set dance teacher, screaming at the kids for good TV. Miller also emphasized the accomplishments she has achieved with her students, including 25 Broadway shows and driving their asses back and forth to auditions.
In March 2024, some cast members requested that their former dance instructor be absent before the reunion took place. A source told PEOPLE that everyone had gone through different eras and had time to reflect, and they didn't want to relive the emotional and physical trauma that Abby put them through.
Brooke and Paige, along with JoJo Siwa, Chloé Lukasiak, Kendall Vertes, and Kalani Hilliker, attended the reunion. Nia Sioux, along with sisters Maddie and Kenzie Ziegler, chose not to attend. Sioux later spoke out about her decision on TikTok, saying that she loved the girls and was happy for them to share their experiences.
