The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 - September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Poland's Iga Swiatek claimed the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title. Exceptional by Hewett, winning 4 of the last 6 US Opens. He has 8 singles GS titles and, with Reid, 18 doubles GS titles, yet they play to an empty stadium. Those organising the US Open should be ashamed of themselves. Hewitt got less for winning the US Open, than every non-wheelchair player earned, losing in round 1.
