I think one of the big things for him, is to work with a QB that's a decent human being.

You forgot crappier QB (and I’m not even a Pad Statford fan). Justin Herbert could have Jerry Rice, Randy Moss & Cooper Kupp at WR and would still fold in the playoffs. He’s never had the makings of a playoff quarterback.
